It seems to me that the question left hanging is the true, legal definition of “natural born citizen”. He does not meet that qualification because his father was British. So, why didn’t the Dem Party stop this candidacy in the 1st place? He is not eligible to be President according to the Constitution, no matter where he was born.

I finally got a response out of the US Department of State about when I might expect a response to my January 2009 Freedom of Information Act request.
