In 2007, a Portland paper learned what had happened. Gore's lawyers called the story "absolutely false," and it wasn't published. Now the National Enquirer has made the police report public. And Gore's family-man image will never be the same.

What family man image? He was running around with his wedding ring off on his first book tour for Earth in the Balance in the mid-90s. Friends of mine said he was separated from Tipper and was "partying" with them, which I did not take to be sexual per se in their case, but that he was out looking around. Months later he was nominated for the veep job, and suddenly the ring and Tipper were back.

What a couple of hypocrites. Glad she finally dumped the lying cheater. Cheated on his wife; cheated on the global warming evidence; cheated on the election results; cheated with big, carbon emitting houses and plane rides while deriding President Bush, who created a "green" house for his family at his ranch long before Gore's global warming scam even got traction.

She was a licenced massage therapist who was under contract with the hotel to perform scheduled massages with hotel guests who requested them.

"Mr. Stone" had asked for a LENGTHY 3-hour massage, and that's why it was a $500 charge.

There was an interesting posting about all this in an earlier thread, where a freeper posited that this entire incident may be some type of "Shot Across The Bow" from Tipper's lawyers thusly notifying Al that he better pony up a terrific divorce settlement post haste.

I know the feeling. I was in my car on lunch listening to Rush reading the story. I honest to God thought I was going to vomit in my mouth thinking about Al Gore doing that.

Then he read the part where Gore made her listen to some anti-Bush song that turned him on and I immediately bust out laughing.
