Here is video of White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs saying that President Obama will use a speech on Thursday to push for Comprehensive Immigration Reform. Gibbs said Obama will “reiterate” that we “cannot have immigration reform passed individually by each state through a patchwork of laws.”
Gibbs said Obama will also emphasize that it will take “Republican support” to get an Immigration Bill passed, which he said, “has certainly been there in the past.”
The Arizona anti-Illegal Immigration Law really has the Obama crew rattled. They are afraid other states are soon to follow suit, and they want to do something to stop it from happening. But it’s hard to say whether Obama is really ready to go all out to get something passed, or whether he is just window-dressing to make the Latino voters not be so upset with him for not getting some kind of amnesty bill passed.

I am going to pray against this speech. The situation feels like it’s spiraling out of control. The voters of this country turned the top office over to a sick, inexperienced far left Marxist ideologue who hates everything the US has traditionally stood for. If he were to say “We cannot have firearms laws passed by every state or city”, Obama might have at least a little credibility.

I hear you. It’s just that for me, I’m starting to feel like a punching bag. Every time I absorb one of Obama’s body blows, he’s ready with a newer, harder one. I think his addiction/dysfunction is getting the upper hand of him, and we’re along for the trainwreck. That, or his need for revenge against his low poll numbers has pulled out all the stops, and until he hits a brick wall, the damage is just going to steadily intensify. :(
Off topic. I just got off the phone with a friend who asked me if I knew of anybody who might have a good understanding of the traditions behind the Kabbalah. I said I might. He said he would email me a specific question. I doubt I’ll get it for a day or two. If and when he writes, would it be all right to run the question by you?
