Democratic Socialists of America Push for Death of Private Sector

With Congress' strong-armed passage of the unconstitutional and very unpopular health care reform bill, the radical left is puffed up to a frenzy with the desire to see their America-killing policies enacted. WorldNetDaily.com's Aaron Klein, along with Brenda J. Elliot, has written yet another well-researched piece exposing The Democratic Socialists of America's plan to use "Obamacare" to extinguish private-sector insurance companies, among other diabolical schemes. Aaron Klein reports, "A socialist organization with close ties to Barack Obama has outlined a plan to turn the president's health-care legislation into a government-run system that will ultimately eliminate private insurance companies. Obama's health-care bill 'should create millions of new stakeholders in a health-care system governed by democratically established rules rather than by the fiats of private insurers,' wrote Frank Llewellyn, national director of Democratic Socialists of America." Klein writes that Llewellyn has called for a public information campaign to push "Obamacare" and socialized medicine. He quotes Llewellyn as saying, ""DSAers (Democratic Socialists of America members) in every state and city," he said, "should be prepared to rebut distortions with letters to the editor and op-eds that talk about what socialism really is – and what true social democratic public provision would look like, particularly when health-care is the paradigmatic public good that markets, let alone for profit oligopolies, simply cannot justly and affordably supply." [end quote] In other words, this Llewellyn guy wants a disinformation campaign to target people who tell the truth about the health care reform legislation and the evils of socialized medicine. He not only wants to target truth-tellers and take out the insurance companies, but also fellow Democrats who oppose single-payer and socialized health care. Klein quotes Llewellyn, "Progressives must now work to ensure that some conservative Democrats who did not support the final bill will be punished with primaries or even third-party challenges," he wrote. Llewellyn argued the passage of Obama's health-care bill opens the door for other progressive policies, such as immigration reform, anti-corporate measures and an end to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He wrote: "Passage of the bill does keep the door open for popular movements to demand strict financial regulatory reform, immigration reform, massive aid to states and localities, and a much-needed public jobs program. "DSA and the larger progressive movement must create street heat in favor of these anti-corporate measures, as well as for a just resolution to the foreclosure crisis, and an end to United States involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan." So, there you go. As I said, these leftists are in a puffed-up frenzy, now that they've rammed the health care bill through Congress, so they're ready to go full-bore with rest of their vile agenda. They want amnesty for illegal aliens, and more redistribution of wealth. They also want to abolish private ownership in America. Klein quotes DSA National Political Committee member David Green, who wrote in 2007 in the DSA’s publication the “Democratic Left,” "Our goal as socialists is to abolish private ownership of the means of production." Well isn't that just swell?! Here is the enemy within our own country plotting to undo the United States as we know it. And, Obama is right up in there with these guys in the DSA. His ties with top DSA members extend back for years, as Klein documents in his piece. These leftist radicals are coming at us from all sides. It's as if they're hoping to overwhelm us with the staggering number of battle fronts from which they're assaulting us. Well, guess what! We're not going to be overwhelmed. We're not going to lie down under the volume of attacks against our great nation. We're going to stand together against these Marxist-socialist-communist-extremist enemies of America, and we will do our best to take them down from power and undo the damage they have done to our Constitution and country. Of course, it won't be easy, and each of us is just one person, but if we stay engaged, and remain vocal, active and vigilant, we still have hope for stopping and reversing their hellish agenda. Thanks to Aaron Klein of WorldNetDaily.com for another well-written piece that further exposes the radical left and their evil plans to pin America under the iron boot of their socialist dictates.

Democratic Socialists.

Democratic in the sense of two wolves and one sheep voting on what’s for lunch.

As an aside, paragraphs are your friend.

Just a little "visual aid" to go along with a well-written post (even though it lacks a little in the paragraph-breaks department ;^)).

So you use Free Republic to troll for hits to your blog, and on your blog you quote Aaron Klein who did all the hard work but you don’t link to him, thereby keeping him from getting the traffic that you are siphoning off?

Nice.

The very instant Obamacare was passed was the same as healthcare becoming single payer government run healthcare. No matter what anyone claims otherwise.

This is a logical fact, because insurance is a wager between two conscious, consenting parties, the insurer and the insuree; as soon as a detached third party is given authority to manipulate the wagers then the original participants are no longer relevant. The third party, in this case the government, is the executor. Any vestigial "insurance company" is simply a verbal deception to appease the recalcitrant.

How obvious is that?

Hence, the freedom, capability, and consciousness of the individual to assess and act on the situation, in this case his own health, is abandoned. This is blatant Bicameralism or Leftism (abandonment of individual judgement to authoritarian operation).

It's not like the Sinister don't know this; they know what there're after (and how to hide it). It's the ignorant who are the naive enablers, and the root of the sea-change in human commerce, from individual consciousness to mindless authoritarian mechanics.

ObamaCare is as profound a human issue as anything in sociological history, a reflection of the transfiguration of the United States.

Actually, I wrote that article and I DID link to Klein’s WND article in it. The link apparently did not transfer when Scott posted it.

I KNOW Aaron Klein “did all the hard work,” and I DID give him all the credit, plus I gave him at least two additional outlets that promote his article:

By the way, that’s very big of you to beat up on Scott for posting pieces from his site here. What’s wrong with Scott sharing from his site? What is Free Republic anyway if not a place to share?

The paragraph breaks are my doing and not that of the author. For some reason, I didn’t check that before I hit send. Sorry, Gina.

No worries! I wasn't trying to be actually critical, so my apologies if I came off that way.

It might be because there were other html tags in the text when you typed it, which causes the FR parser to not add in any more html tags for readability (at least that's my understanding); I've found that if I need to ensure I get a paragraph break, that I include two html "br" tags between my paragraphs.

No worries - besides, one usually learns more from making a mistake than from a success!
