Obama Administration Files Suit against Arizona Immigration Law

As expected the Obama administration filed suit against Arizona’s Immigration Law that is scheduled to begin enforcement on July 29th. The suit argues that Arizona’s law oversteps Federal authority. The suit filed in Federal Court says, "In our constitutional system, the federal government has pre-eminent authority to regulate immigration matters, this authority derives from the United States Constitution and numerous acts of Congress. The nation's immigration laws reflect a careful and considered balance of national law enforcement, foreign relations, and humanitarian interests."

How nice it is of the administration to consider the constitution for once, I guess there’s a first time for everything.

The hypocrisy of this administration is certainly never ceases to amaze. On one hand you have a state that passes a law to supplement the national law and allow their local law enforcement to do the job that the United States government won't. On the other hand they let a racist organization get away with voter intimidation, hate speech, and inciting violence. When will this nightmare end?

Great question this morning on Boortz.com

Question: Robbing a federally insured bank is a federal crime. It’s also a crime under the statutes of the State of Arizona. Should the Justice Department file a lawsuit against Arizona demanding that Arizona law enforcement officials cease enforcing Arizona’s law against robbing banks because it usurps federal authority? Just wondering.

How does Arizona overstep its authority by handing illegal aliens over to the U.S.? Its not like Arizona is deporting illegals. They are simply turning them over to Obama who does not want to do anything.

As I have stated constantly for the last three days that I’m a legal American citizen and I must show my ID when:
1. Pulled over by the police.
2. Making purchases on my department store credit card.
3. When I show up for a doctor’s appointment.
4. When filling out a credit card or loan application.
5 When applying for or renewing a driver’s license or passport.
6. When applying for any kind of insurance.
7. When filling out college applications.
8. When donating blood.
9. When obtaining certain prescription drugs.
10. When making some debit purchases, especially
if I’m out of state.
11. When collecting a boarding pass for airline or train travel.

I’m sure there are more instances, but the point is that we citizens of the USA are required to prove who we are nearly every day!

Why should people in this country illegally, be exempt!!!!!

For that matter, perhaps the liberals can answer the question: Why are we not allowed to guard our borders as closely as every other country in the world does? Where is the rationale? When will grown-ups run this country again?
Go ARIZONA !!!

This whole topic has been of interest to me for some time. It is maddening. Of note, it says in the Declaration of Independence that we as a people have the right to alter or abolish the government should it become destructive. Some people might not agree, and that therein is the problem. We have become complacent to our own destruction. I have copied the DOI word for word here for your reading pleasure, it’s amazing and I feel this directly applies to this situation now. (Of course I recommend reading the document for yourself also.)

The Founders were unbelievably prophetic with their writing of the Declaration. We may be headed to another revolution because clearly the nation is divided. We have been infiltrated at all levels by leftists who are hell bent on fundamentally transforming America into something the Founders would not recognize today.

On July 6th, 2010, an ‘unopposed motion for extension to file opening brief’ was filed in the Keyes/Barnett v Obama lawsuit now in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in California. Appellants’ seek an extension until August 12th, 2010 to file the opening brief in the Keyes/Barnett v Obama appeal. The original schedule to file was June 28th, 2010. Previously, the Court granted Appellants’ an extension until July 12th, 2010, but due to serious complications from back surgery Attorney Gary Kreep is unable to meet that date.
