AND the big issue is the military said the "knew" what it was and would explain shortly... THEN, nothing... and still nothing.
Embarrassing rocket failure, or...? The Soviets used to lie all the time about their screw-ups, of course...
Yu, said he had seen a strange glowing object in the sky.
Who did?
Yu.
I did not!

Rockets don’t hover—especially in such a manner as a UFO does.
I think it’s a UFO. You know, an unidentified flying object. Oh, wait. That is what it is.
Sorry, it’s just a jet under very unusual lighting conditions.
Someone published a close-up of the object, and you can clearly make out a long cylindrical object with a row of windows along the side. The bottom is reflecting sunlight (the video is either just after sunset or just before sunrise). The plane is far away, and traveling toward the photographer at an angle.
Because the sun is almost directly behind the plane, every bit of exhaust from the engine(s) is being back-lit, producing the beautiful trail.
I live in central Florida, and one of the recent Shuttle launches produced the same exhaust effect. It was still dark on the ground, but the Shuttle was already in sunlight, and the exhaust was back-lit, just like this photo. It was breath-taking, and much more elaborate than a “typical” Shuttle launch (when you can’t see the majority of the exhaust)
