Sarah Palin: Kelly Ayotte for New Hampshire
Facebook ^ | July 19, 2010 | Sarah Palin

Posted on 07/19/2010 2:17:37 PM PDT by Josh Painter

Todd, Willow, and I are headed out to Kodiak and Afognak to meet with logging families on the forested islands. As we work and sightsee on America’s largest island we’ll get to view more majestic bears, so now is a good time to draw attention to the political equivalent of the species.

It’s my honor to endorse a Granite State “mama grizzly” who has broken barriers, fought off and locked up criminals, and battled all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court to protect the rights of New Hampshire parents – and won!

New Hampshire is lucky to have Kelly Ayotte as a candidate for the U.S. Senate this year. Kelly is a daughter of the Granite State, a product of its public schools, and its first female Attorney General. In her impressive five years in the AG’s office, Kelly earned a reputation for being tough on crime, supportive of law enforcement, and tireless in the defense of the rights of the people of New Hampshire. When Planned Parenthood challenged New Hampshire’s parental notification law, Kelly fought them all the way to the Supreme Court and won.

She’s the proud mother of two and the wife of a combat veteran who flew missions over Iraq and currently serves in the Air National Guard. Kelly and her husband started a small landscaping/snow removal business; so, she understands first hand the crushing burden Washington imposes on our small businesses. This pro-life, pro-family, anti-tax constitutional commonsense conservative is the Democrats’ biggest fear in November. They’re already running false ads against her weeks before even the primary election. And on top of that Kelly is facing attacks from a self-funded millionaire running with an R next to his name who likes Obamacare and cap-and-tax.

Kelly is the strongest commonsense conservative who can win in the fall. I knew I liked her when I met her earlier this year, and I know this Granite Grizzly will represent New Hampshire with distinction in Washington.

Please join me in supporting Kelly Ayotte by visiting her website at www.ayotteforsenate.com and following her on Facebook and Twitter.

One final note: I spent time campaigning in New Hampshire in 2008, and I know that the good people there are a lot like Alaskans. In both of our states, we like to get to know the people running for office, look them in the eye, and judge their character. New Hampshire voters know not to rely on misleading negative ads. New Hampshire, tune out the ads and send your native daughter to the Senate. She’ll fight for you there just as passionately and fearlessly as she fought for you in the highest court of the land.

His commercials seem to suggest he’s a strong conservative.

I suggest you find the YouTube videos of him in the debates with the 9/12 folks in Rochester a while back. His commercials say one thing. He says quite another.

I still have physical problems but cancer has been conquered, at least for now.
The Democrats in my district are all hiding under the porch. If enough of them write me in on their primary ballot, and I know many who will, I should be on both sides of the ballot come November 2.

Kelly would be all right, I guess - Ithink she’s a real conservative as opposed to the phony type (commercial: “Bill Binnie cured my daughter’s cancer! Bill Binnie rescued my cat from a tree! Bill Binnie! BIll Binnie!” Ugh.) But Ovide’s my guy. He’s a friend and a thoroughly decent man, and I mean it. I cannot comprehend how such a nice person ever got involved in politics- he laughed when I told him that.

Bill: I finally had to break down and get some bifocal lenses. Hard to admit I’m getting older.

Bill: the trick is to drop the glasses down your nose and use the distance lens along with a bullseye target with a red “10” ring. Pull the bolt and bore-sight, adjusting your scope to the barrel view at 25 yards. Make a five shot test group, then readjust as necessary.

I’m not far behind. I have to wear reading glasses when I have the contacts in. But I understand they make bifocal contacts now—who knew?

Ugh is right--Bill says there are tons of signs along 125, and he's right--especially the HUGE one on the barn across 125 from the NAPA just north of the State Police barracks/DMV. Seems to me that was the same guy who had all the Ron Paul crap up in 2008.

Coincidence? And yeah, Binnie is a RINO at best based on the debate I saw.

Does New Hampshire have a run-off if she doesn’t get over 50%?

None is scheduled, so no.

I think we’ve all had enough of the RINO’s - no species has ever deserved extinction more than they. It’s tempting to believe that anything would be better than Democrats, but what happens when you elect people who vote the same way half the time - and on all the key issues? You get more of the same poison, just delivered in smaller doses.

No. Because of that we have often had a RINO elected because a number of Reagan Republicans divided the conservative vote. Bass and Bradley were both elected that way.

I’m too far removed, but years and geography, but my sense is that all states’ public schools have declined in quality and been politicized. Would be interesting to see someone like Gov. Christie, once he got NJ’s fiscal house in order, really going at making the schools good again.

I’d recommend you take Buckley’s advice and go with the most conservative electable candidate. This sounds as though we are looking at once again electing a Bass/Bradley halfasser instead of somebody more conservative. My hope is that if Ovide is running a poor 3d he endorses the more conservative of the two.

I don’t know about the First district but in the Second, hopefully Mrs. Horn will put an end to Charlie Tuna’s attempted comeback. I have had my sign out for some time. Of course I live on a dead end road way out in the woods so it isn’t doing too much good.
