Well, God bless ‘em. I’ve read before that since they each do politics for a living, and always have, they make it a policy NOT to talk about it at home. But really, do you believe that, how could they not? Hopefully, they both have the same values as far as family, raising kids, etc. I don’t think I could do it. For me, liberal vs. conservative is far more than “politics”, it’s a way of life, vision and thinking. But I’ve always liked MM, she’s one sharp cookie and she probably just blows his pomposity off as a rule. It’d take a strong gal to be married to him and she’s just the one to handle him.
Matalin is a RINO at best, she’s proabortion, wimpy on immigration etc. So it doesn’t confuse me all that much.
As soon as she was off the set she likely said, “No Fried Catfish for a week”

That’s funny! If I was Carville I would have had a tough time stopping laughing myself.
I think these two have enough on air time that this was not a “lost control” moment. It may have been candid, not planned, but it was not a “spat” as made out to be.
It definately got a couple names linked as a team onto the airwaves that I have not seen much of lately. I doubt it was a manufactured moment though.

I’ve heard Matalin say that when she met James, she was impressed with how great he treated his mom. She figured a guy like that would make a good husband and dad. By all accounts, he is crazy about his little girls and family. (Others would say he’s just plain crazy!) It was fun watching him diss the B.O. administration for dithering on the oil spill, though.

I gotta admit, I laughed like hell when I saw this. LOL
When I met my sweetie (five years ago), he was a leftwing kook. In public education himself, with one sister getting her Master’s from Harvard, the other getting hers from Stanford. Whole family of left wing nuts. Oddly enough, an Indian immigrant family. The kids were first-generation.
That video reminded me what would have happened if I hadn’t STRAIGHTENED HIS ASS OUT. He’s no longer a lib. Hell, he even voted for Sarah.

One of them HAS to be LYING!! How can 2 people be married when there outlook on life is diametrically opposed.
They were married in the early 90’s and have two girls.

I did convert my wife from a Democrat and a Clinton supporter. ;-)
