Dr. Donald Berwick, the pediatrician President Obama installed at the helm of Medicare and Medicaid without Congressional input, has said he is “in love with the NHS,” Britain’s government-run health system. Unable to contain his true feelings, Dr. Berwick went on to say that NHS was “such a seductress,” and that it was “not just a national treasure, it is a global treasure.”

Didn’t they come out the other day, and say they were totally changing NHS? Because it is dying, the costs are huge, the rationing terrible, and people’s health is being controlled by centralized bureaucrats?

WHAT? Better medical care in Libya than the UK? Gee, Berwick, where is the "romance" in that????? You might have to re-examine what you fell in love with.
BTW, fyi, a Maryland teenage caller to Mark Levin said in his high school class they were forced to watch a video that said the will to live is selfish because it takes money from the state. So our kids are being taught to tell their parents to go ahead and die already. Of course most of us saw this coming - they yank our health care from us by force, for the common (their constituents) good, force us to pay them for it and then tell us to die because we're too expensive.
What happened to our country????? It's gone.
If this isn't satire, we need to call for this twit's resignation. If he can't contain his emissions over a failed Socialist's wet dream, put his 'feelings' aside and examine the facts, he has no business in the post.
It isn't gone, but we're going to have to fight to get it back on track.
It isn't going to be easy, the statists have a head start and there are an awful lot of kids out there who are going to need some serious de-programming from the Statist cult.
It is easier to do if parents pay attention and sort things out for their kids as they go along, but for those who have neglected the duty of paying attention to what the schools are filling their children's heads with, it is going to be tough, and some will be lost to the other side. Pity.
Americans have become so self-centered and preoccupied with living like royalty their children have been stolen from them on one side of the spectrum, and so preoccupied with gimmies and paybacks on the other side (not to mention distractions like substance abuse) on the other that they virtually welcome their children being programmed by the State.
In the end, those who will suffer the most are the very ones who haven't been paying attention--if we don't get things turned around.
