This very short video, showing Chris Mathews, Eugene Robinson, and Patrick Buchanan, debating the merits or demerits of “affirmative action” in the NBA, but for those whom this motley crew calls, “whitey” so to be able to shoot hoops at NBA basketball sporting events. Even Mr. Robinson comments: “I think the white players at least got to be able to shoot.” while laughing out loud. All this about progress on issues about race.

I am sure a lot of people like basketball. But it does not float my boat. I say if the best players are black...put in the best players.
I have a theory it's really more to do with social class, many kids from wealthy families are probably discouraged to engage in sports and instead encouraged to focus on their studies.. thus many potentially talented athletes slip through the cracks.
Take boxing for instance... when was the last time a world class boxer came from a rich family? .... Yeah, I couldn't think of a single one either. Seriously why play a sport like that if you are smart and could have an amazing life doing a easy desk job.
Put in the best, of course. But this isn’t about the best, and it’s not about ending racism. This is about power. This is about turning the tables on whitey, plain and simple.
Whether we’re talking about the the joke, the welfare, the job market, the government “favors”, etc., as long as it’s at whitey’s expense then it’s all good.
These people won’t be satisfied until whitey is destitute, or begging for mercy, or dead.
Now, if only they can figure out a way to achieve this end without putting black people in the poor house too.

The discrimination against white athletes in the U.S. in basketball and football is beyond belief....if you can’t see it you’re not really paying attention.
@BigGirl: Wow, thanks for sharing that video of Bird...he was beyond amazing. The last segment was of him and Dominique Wilkins of the Hawks in a playoff seventh game. I listened to it on the radio...and it was unbelievable. It was like ‘Nique and Bird just said “its me and you” and they drew down like two gunslingers....and Bird out-willed him and the Celtics won. The cultural marxists would have you believe that Larry Bird’s DNA has somehow disappeared from the planet...LOL
