Many believe that the Arizona Gangs vs California Gangs may repeatedly TORCH each others landscape that would usurp state resources and ultimately financially bankrupt the states as well as set off an interstate war so to speak.

State and local law enforcement officials have the general power to investigate and arrest violators of federal immigration statutes without prior INS knowledge or approval, as long as they are authorized to do so by state law. There is no extant federal limitation on this authority.

I don’t know why this wasn’t used in the court case or if it was. It would seem to be “case closed.” I did a search and verified it. My head hurts when I think of the judiciary and the power judges weild to be arbitrary in their decisions.
