No, I suspect that not unlike you I'll simply be an advocate.

I'll advocate for a simple, fiscal conservative agenda.

If 'fiscal conservatives' succeed in purging the Tea Party movement of the 'social conservatives' they will just show how much they resemble the very ones they claim to be opposed to in the RINO Party and just how intolerant they too are. Without the social conservative being a full partner in the Tea Party the TP will not be successful.

Fiscal conservatives need to wake up and smell the coffee before the effort falls flat on its face and become just as irrelevant as the RINO Party has become.

You are not though advocating reducing government if you accept politicians who are for denying the people their right to representation on issues such as are defined by the term ‘social conservatism’.

Oh and I am not an advocate? I am something more? Get real.

I am advocating that the TEA party stand for limited government and individual liberty on all issues. Not just the ones that you want them to.

How many people that marched on Washington in the DC TEA party were not as ideologically pure as you are? You would tell them they are not wanted in your exclusive club? You would tell them to stay home, you are not good enough to march with me? You would tell them we don’t like your kind?

And how is what you are doing any different? You are implying that a social conservative should keep his mouth shut or leave. You seem to only see this attitude when it is directed at you but not when you are doing the same.

This thread isn’t even about social conservatives kicking out fiscal conservatives from the TEA party but it is about the other way around and you are doing the same. It is you who want your ideologically pure version of a Tea Party. I am advocating that the Tea party stand for limited government and individual liberty on ALL issues. You want to pick and choose which issues and deny anyone else from saying otherwise.

It's impossible to divorce "fiscal conservatism" with "social/moral conservatism" - they two sides of the same coin, if not really on a one-sided coin.

Allow homo-perversion unfettered reign in exchange for fiscal conservatism, and you will soon find that you have mandated perversion and no fiscal/economic conservatism.

Just look at mAssachusetts, for crying out loud!!!

No, they are not being denied the right to representation. They have congressmen. You may not like your representative, but you do have one.

I didnt say you were the first to take a stand, I said one reason you are putting up this fake “tough guy” attitude is so that you can claim to have been one of the first people to “know” the Tea Party was wrong.

The whole point of the tea party is fiscal issues, the same as the National Right to Life is social. The tea party is so big because social libs and cons can both want smaller government and less spending. Every group doesnt have to have all three conservative legs.

How come no one is talking about the Tea Party’s national defense beliefs?

Stop repeating the lie that representation is being denied, it makes the forum look like conspiracy wackos.

You are implying that a social conservative should keep his mouth shut or leave.

Where did I say that?

Yes the people are being denied their right to representation on the issue of when life begins and it is the agenda of the left-wing to do the same with the definition of marraige and other issues of how sexuality is dealth with in public.

I guess you think that having a Court dictate these issues is giving representation on theses issues. That is flat out ridiculous.

The article of the thread is about “purging social conservatives from the Tea Party” and you have been agreeing with that. Are you now denying that?

You stop repeating the lie that we have representation on the issue of when life begins. It has been denied by left-wing activists through the Court.

There is room for all. Find where I suggested that it would be a good idea to purge social conservatives from the TEA party.

The left-wing agenda to redefine marraige is a fiscal issue. There is law suit after lawsuit whereas big government is being used to milk companies of their hard earned dollars and destroy the free market all in the name of forcing a perverted morality on the people.

If you support that agenda then there is no way you could call yourself any type of conservative at all.

No need to. You are now then supporting my position that the Tea Party is open to opposition to big government abusing it’s power and attacking the free market on ALL issues, including ones that get labeled by some a social issues.
