You might be able to use the Bush excuse for twelve months...but after that...it just doesn’t work anymore. Excuses in general don’t work...you need to establish accomplishments and pursue a future. Anything less than that is just minor league-level play.
I saw Carter used for 12 years, Blaming Bush just did not wear as well.
