Sarah Palin Endorsement: Brian Murphy for Maryland Governor
Citizen Palin 4 President ^ | Sarah Palin

Posted on 08/04/2010 8:33:29 AM PDT by MaxCUA

I’m honored to endorse Brian Murphy for Governor of Maryland. Brian is a pro-life, pro-Second Amendment commonsense conservative and a firm believer in the free market and the cause for energy independence. As a former energy industry executive and current small business owner, Brian has the private sector experience that is so lacking in government today. He knows how to incentivize industry to get our economy moving again. Together with his running mate for lieutenant governor, Mike Ryman, Brian will provide Maryland with principled and results oriented leadership.

That is great....although it did not work with Takakan (spello?). Maryland might be a better fit with endorsements.

Considering that the vast majority of Marylanders don’t even know he’s running, he has no where else to go.

‘Most Marylanders’ are clueless about many things- hopefully ENOUGH of them will get educated enough to vote on Nov 2 to wrest our freedom back from the Leftist maggots-!

I like him. Don’t think he has a chance, but I’ll spread the word and vote. Yes, I live in Md.

Maryland has a 2 to 1 Democrat registration. Palin’s endorsement and Murphy’s pro-life emphasis will do nothing but guarantee that Erlich looses to O’mally and the blatent Congressional district Gerrymandering and anti-business taxes remain.

As far as I know, we have a primary. I see nothing to indicate Murphy will run third party in the general election if he loses the primary. FWIW.

Nice try, but Erlich has already proven that he’s perfectly capable of losing on his own. Democrat Martin O’Malley beat Erlich in November, 2006 after Erlich served a single term.

Sarah has just assured that Maryland will have four more years of Martin (The Whiner) O'Malley. Thanks for nothing, Sarah. I admire your principles, but your political instincts stink. I am an endangered species - a Maryland Republican - and I've never heard of this guy. He has no chance against Ehrlich, but will serve to cause him to spend time and money on the primary. Resources he needs desperately to defeat O'Malley.

I wouldn't mind you "kamikazee conservatives" so much if you just you yourselves went down in flames for your causes. In fact, I'd respect you for it.

Unfortunately, when you do, we get O - "Obama and O'Malley - Destroying America Once Piece at a Time".

If you knew JACK about Maryland politics, you would know that Ehrlich (at least learn to spell his name right) was ambushed by the Machiavellian Maryland Legislature. They blocked slots legislation because Ehrlich would have gotten credit for it. They saddled him with outrageously expensive school funding mandates. The legislature crippled Ehrlich's plans.

Now, 4 years later, we still have no slots revenue - while the surrounding states of PA, DE and WV pull in money from Marylanders. The bottom fell out of the slots market, and they received few bidders for licenses. Everything is still tied up in court and Marylanders are waking up to the fact that RAT politics sent this revenue stream down the crapper. They have seen how anti-business O'Malley is and they want a guard dog keeping an eye on the legislature.

In Maryland, a republican has to win by a huge margin to actually win - Baltimore City, in one election, just kept the polls open until the other districts had reported and they knew how many votes to "find". Ehrlich will need every vote he can get.

And he has a good chance - in the last four years, folks have gotten to know Nancy Lugosi - evil spawn of the currupt D'Alessandro machine, and started to get a clue how corrupt the 'Rats in MD really are.
