Personally...I think both Jews and Muslims are crazy - I love roast pork. But I also sympathise with administrators making rational decisions which cover the entirety of their students. You should too.

And they do this by serving no pork? Why should any Christian have to cater to Muslims on this issue. Pork is a traditional American and English food. Muslims demand this crap because of their aggressiveness and their numbers. Jews have never demanded that a public school go Kosher. If you can find an example please do

Any school that goes halal is sending money to halal butchers and food distributors which are all Muslim businesses and probably employ 100% Muslims. They are taking business and jobs from non-halal distributors

Schools aside for a moment, there is also an economic angle to the Halal business & accreditation. It is a multibillion dollar global market. Domestic demand from growing muslim population in different countries as well as lucrative export opportunities play key roles.
