Hello Patriots in Freeperland !
As the title suggests I am Dr. Bill Escoffery III. One of my advisors suggested I create an account on FreeRepublic and open the floor up for any discussions about my campaign for U.S. Senate. So here it is.

First off...lose the name; too patrician.
It would help if you would mention the state. Most of us would be unable to vote for you even if you convinced us your election will restore the Republic.

Well-I went to his website and looked around—had to go all the way to the end to find out he’s in FL.
Keep your name obviously something to be proud of, at one time something that with a handshake you could enter into business agreements with.

good for you on choosing to represent the people, the right of the individual, and the republic. be forth right in your beliefs, and principles. take the tough questions and explain your answer simply, with facts. look at Christi in new jersey, or Reagan. lastly, if you have crap in your closet, get it out, explain how you screwed up, what you did to fix it, and most importantly what you learned from it. that would be a vain of truth that America sorely needs.

You have an AMAZING life story! One that would make you an OUTSTANDNG U.S. Senator. I wish I knew about your campaign before last weekend, I think we could have made a much bigger impact. I am voting for you in the Florida Republican primary but many of my fellow freepers feel like there is not enough time for you to get the name recognition to beat Marco Rubio. With GOD all things are possible Sir. Keep pushing forward and see what God can do!

hopefully some consideration is given to REAL candidates who put themselves on the line to post of FR. I think Dr. Escoffery’s willingness to do so speaks volumes of his character and genuineness.
I hope the mods cut him a little slack since he is in an UPHILL battle in this Primary.

I know I feel a whole lot better about voting for a doctor than I feel about voting for an attorney. My congressional nominee is a Baptist minister.
I asked a few questions previously, but the question I’d like to know is WHY? What prompted you to undertake this position at this time in your life and are you willing to fight the dems and moderates tooth and nail?

I am not an expert but my understand is that the F.L.E.X. is an international MD equivilent.. can anyone confirm that?

I can assure you that Dr. Escoffery is engaged in this thread live right now. Since his account is brand new his posts have to go through a mod first, which is the reason for the delay.. In addition I am talking him through the posting procedures/rules over the phone as we speak. Thanks for your patience.

I believe FLEX is a way of transferring medical education from a foreign country to the US which includes testing and licensure. I may be wrong, but I believe this is the process in place to ensure quality of care internationally.

Btw- FLEX=Federal Licensing Examinations. It applied to international MD’s who wish to practice in the US.

I agree, now that I see it in print so often!
There have been four of us named “William,” three were doctors, two of us are still alive.
Thus, to avoid confusion, it seemed the best way to I.D. for the ballot.
But my mother’s name was “Smith”. If things were arranged differently, I could have been “Bill Smith!” (Actually, I DO feel more comfortable with that).
So promise me that if I’m elected you will do this for me regularly, ensuring that I never become Hyper-Inflated!
