Jan Brewer has the cajones that our president does not have. If our own president will not enforce our federal law, more power to Jan Brewer.

-Sarah Palin

Drawing the copious gobs of venom normally reserved for Sarah Palin, Arizona Governor, Jan Brewer is standing by her audacious step of outlawing crime. Brewer’s refusal to back off of her position on illegal immigration has the left, including the White House, in complete delirium.

The same herd that firmly believes the federal government has an unassailable right to regulate what you eat, what you drive, the temperature in your house and what you breathe are squealing like stuck pigs because the citizens of Arizona want the federal government to exercise one of the very few powers it legitimately has. In fact, the Constitution mandates that the federal government regulate immigration and protect the individual states against invasion.

Those who claim the Arizona bill is unconstitutional either haven’t read it or are not bright enough to understand it. Even more nefarious are the professional agitators among the Misery Merchant community who choose to misrepresent the legislation.

Liberals are confounded—a politician bending to the will of her constituents is a real aberration to them. In April, Rasmussen found that 70% of likely Arizona voters supported the new law. Nationally, 61% of the voting public approves of the law.

Like her supporter, Sarah Palin, Governor Brewer entered local politics out of concern for her children.

"Later, when married with children, Brewer’s interest in politics sprung out of her concern for her three kids’ educations. She began attending school board meetings in Deer Valley Ariz., in 1981, and was unimpressed. ‘I said that I could do a job just as well as those people were doing … if not better,’ she told the Arizona Republic in late 2008."

Presumably, Brewer had the same epiphany about the Arizona governorship. Her predecessor, Janet Napolitano’s conspicuous incompetence led to her appointment to the post of Homeland Security Secretary. Another dullard plucked from obscurity by Obama and elevated to high office—one way to ensure obedience.

Sarah Palin calls us Mama Grizzlies. However you label it, the Era of the Woman is upon us and Governor Jan Brewer is helping usher it in.

I pray for this woman and her family every night and urge others to do so as well.

Is there any chance the Angle will defeat Reid in Nevada? Her background is very much the same as Brewer’s.

It is ironic that female empowerment is coming from the “conservative” movement. Ironic, only from the standpoint that the left has always claimed to be the defenders of the status of women. To those of us who are conservatives, it is not unsual at all.

However, with Sarah leading the way, Jan holding forth in AZ, Nikki soon SC and the several other women, white and black, btw, who are running this year, conservative women are coming to the fore.

Not to mention Liz Cheney, S E Cupp, Megyn Kelly and Betsy McCaughey (who blew me away on the Wall Street Journal Report this weekend).

I missed several, I know, but this is fun.

What I worry about is when it gets challenged in a Supreme Court that has Kagan in it.

If the states can not enforce federal law, could that not be expanded to federal law in other area besides immigration?

Yup. State & local police should not be pursuing bank robbers or kidnappers—feds have to handle those.

Precisely. The new precedent is “let felon and federal lawbreakers” go. Maybe AZ should release any and all felons and dump them at the state border with instructions never to come back. And a roadmap to Washington D.C.

Nice.

Please please do not keep spreading that. The truth is that if the AZ house and Senate had not put sb1070 on Brewer’s desk, she would not have won the Republican nomination for Governor. Brewer was not liked by the State Gop and is far from a fiscal conservative. She is NOT a Palin or a Angle. She got lucky and she’s making the most if it.

I wish just once she would publicly thank the people who actually handed her the election, the Republicans in the State Legislature who she has treated like crap.

Jan Brewer has more cajones than 98% of the leadership of the GOP and 98% of the men in Congress. Thank God we have real men and women in our military or we would have been destroyed already.

The Congress is inhabited by eunuchs and mindless human waste.

All the other states are pissed off cuz they realize the
illegals will start going to their states, and they want
Arizona to share in the burden cuz those other states
are broke. Go Jan Brewer.

Kagan is replacing Justice Stevens on the SCOTUS. No difference in the ultimate result, in all likelihood.

I’m with the gov 100%. She has a lot of balls. Wondering why she doesn’t send the guard down to those parks south of Tucson and make the place safe for Americans to visit. Protection of Arizonians and Americans and another chance to show that Obama (peace be upon him) isn’t doing his constitutional responsibility.

That one deserves a place in the next book of great American quotations!!!

Help Texas watch her borders.
Watch live on 14 cameras and report illegal alien invaders.
Night cams in operation

http://www.blueservo.net/index.php?error=nlg

Does it work? Yes.
Recently caught on cam and reported:
String of illegals running through brush with backpacks
Numerous sightings of boats crossing the river
Numerous vehicles late at night in isolated areas
IMMENSELY satisfying

But Kagan is said to be very persuasive. She was put there to sway Kennedy to the Left. I hope he's stronger than her.
