New NRSC Ad Uses Obama’s Words on “The View” Against Him – Video

Here is a strong new ad put out by the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) that hammers President Obama for an “endless summer of fundraisers,” as he tries to save Democrat Senators’ Jobs by fundraising for them.

The ad cleverly uses Obama’s own words against him, showing his appearance on “The View” where Obama said, “There’s a time to campaign – and then there’s a time to govern.” In response to that statement, the ad closes with these words:

“Mr. President, if you had created more American jobs, you wouldn’t have to spend so much time trying to save Democrat Senators’ jobs.”

This ad isn’t mean, dirty or harsh enough. But it is something. I sincerely hope all of the GOP quits trying to play nice and instead starts to, and consistently continues to, hit below the belt, fight dirty, and be ruthless.

Well, its a start.

Precious little time between now and November though.

I hope there are more ads like this in the wings that actually get some airtime.

As good as the ad is, I don’t like the premise that a President ‘creates’ jobs.

Agreed. This is a good start. However, the GOP needs to hammer home that Congress has been controlled by the Democrats since 2006.
