She’s making a lot of friends, isn’t she? I don’t recall anyone being decked by the media and making this type of comeback. Reagan maybe but times were different.

Sorry, done my research, am voting for The Real Deal.
Karen has been in favor of Planned Parenthood funds and The Log Cabin Republicans to get votes in Fulton County.

Have researched both, like Nathan Deal. Sorry Sarah, but you do not know everything.

Love Sarah, but she is not always correct either.

I’m voting for the Real Deal. I don’t think Karen Handel has the cojones to beat Roy Barnes, and I sure don’t want him back as Governor.

Ditto -

Love Gov Palin, but Handel is not right for governor. She donated to planned parenthood and gay/lesbian groups (including one that did outreach to kids as young as 13) and is whiny/defensive (terrible at debating). I believe it will be a really, really bad idea to elect her. I do not think she is the mama grizzly Palin thought she was.

Save your “best electable candidate” for the liberal states, GA can elect a solid conservative on these issues. And we need conservative states to do this to counter balance the RINOS from liberal states.

I wrote a lengthy post about my conclusions here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2566154/posts .

Deal has the experience and fighting spirit we need, not only for Barnes, for Obama. He wasn’t my first choice, but of the two he is who we need, IMO.

Friends? Yuk Sarah could do better. A supporter of baby killing and gay advancement? I don’t think that is even close to conservative beliefs. Karen Handel must be defeated! We need conservatives only.......and not only that, candidates who believe in our morals! Please can’t we at least get these. Why support someone who sends money to organizations that we do not support? I don’t get it!!!!!

Excuse me boys but I’m voting for Karen — if we want to continue to sway more of the independents, womens votes,
and yes gay votes — we need fresh faces. I agree with Ted Olson and Daniels ... we need to appeal more NOW than ever to recovering dem’s and disenfranchised women in order to be able to oust this current marxist regime. We need every vote we can get to get our Country back. Look at what all we’re giving to illegals, but we still treat native born gay Americans worse than illegals. We can reduce the demorat party down to nothing left but marxist and parasites.

It was written that Deal was behind in the polls a week ago by at least 8 points but today he has magically tied with handel.I think Deal has been ahead all along and they just cant hide it anymore, one day out.We dont trust fulton country because there are just not the numbers of conservatives that there are in other counties around the state.Deal is the only guy that can whoop the rat in November and is the true conservative in the race.

She usually goes with the Susan B. Anthony List. Not familiar with Georgia state politics so I’ll let others explain this. Only comment on SBA list facebook page is she didn’t do her homework but that is lame. In some states there is little choice—everyone with a shot is squishy or worse—but Georgia? Makes no sense to me.

We are in BIG trouble if Karen Handel wins this run-off!!!! I am still perplexed as to why Palin endorsed her other than the fact that she is a woman!!!

Handel has the support of the metro Atlanta crowd, outside of the metro area not so much.

Deal has always been my first choice but I was shocked that she has campaigned for 5 different offices in 5 yrs, never completing a term.

Does anyone know what her economic plan is?

Look, there are certain spins I'll just let go at FR, because everyone hyperbolizes to make a point sometimes.

But I don't like when someone is called (essentially) a baby-killer who is not. Karen has the Pro-Life community's support, if not the PACs - who currently see a better choice but WILL endorse her if she wins. The attacks on her as being some Pro-Abort have been debunked by NUMEROUS Conservative websites, including RedState:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2560975/posts

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:y-LajwbeRG4J:www.karenhandel.com/site/c.dwJTKgO2JiI6G/b.5970531/k.C6FC/Issues.htm+Karen+Handel+abortion&cd=11&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

There is a difference in stating that there is a BETTER Pro-Life candidate and stating that someone who is Pro-Life is Pro-Abortion. I cannot let this smear stand uncontested.

Handel is Pro-Life, and does not support Planned Parenthood. Support a “better” candidate if you like, but don't pretend she likes baby-killing, or secretly supports it.

There are a number of reasons besides pro-life, she did vote to give planned parenthood money when on Fulton Co Comm. or whatever position in the county. I thoroughly researched this matter and she did vote yes. Then she gave lame excuses.

She could have voted no and the funds would have won anyway. She was voting to keep her position in Fulton County which is liberal. That is my grip. Stand up for your beliefs, not dump them to keep votes.

She denied donating to Log Cabin Republicans, photo of her check is on line. Emails are on line. I do not care if she gave to them, admit it. I know gay people and have a relative who is gay, so while I do not like the lifestyle, I love my relative.

She does not stay with her jobs, she lacks experience.
