Yesterday outside of Park 51 in New York City–the location of the proposed Ground Zero Mosque–Eyeblast.tv interviewed Kamal Wahad who is a personal friend and follower of Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and security guard of the vacant building.
During the interview Wahad said there is no point in relocating the mosque, and that the funding “will come from Muslims around the world.”
Wahad says he’s known Rauf for “twenty-something years” and has been a follower the entire time. When asked why the Imam will not meet with New York Governor David A. Paterson about relocating, he stated ” there’s no point in relocating because people need to understand what is Islam, and what isn’t Islam.”
Many have also questioned exactly where the funding for the Mosque is coming from. According to Wahad, it will “come from Muslims all around the world”, and believes it’s a private matter and that it’s not necessary for people to disclose who their contributors are.

This is what they refer to as a victory mosque...it is what they build when they believe they have pummeled their enemy. It will be viewed as a western mecca...muslims from around the world will journey there on every 9/11 to celebrate. It must be stopped!

Most people do not recognize that what happens in a mosque is sedition. Pure and simple. Islam is not just a “religion”, it is a cult. Larger than that though, it is a political system, it is it’s own government, it’s economic system (which includes funding new mosque construction), its judicial...is in its sharia, and its military (jihadis) all rolled into one with one intent ...and that is to rule wherever they take root. It is a invasive, systemic infection looking to take over the host once it has quantum.
This is not just a “religion”, but something that cloaks itself in those terms so it should not be given the same treatment contemplated under the first amendment. The Korans Sharia rules are to consume whatever government there is wherever it goes.
Islam is political, and it’s goal is to supplant and replace. Globally.

Obama? Obama and Company? Should be tried for treason in this issue for promoting the establishment of a foreign government on our soils. He is doing nothing to protect America as per his oath. Also, as a Muslim, he knows this, he know far better, he knows sharia, but is looking to deceive America.

I think this imam decided on this site as a gimmick to attract the funds to build it - thinking, correctly, that the moneyed Islamists of the middle east would chip in big time to rub Uncle Sam’s nose in 9/11.
As to what “Islam is or isn’t” - at the least it is insensitive to the feelings and emotions of those most harmed by the events of 9/11.
The funds raised around the world from Moslems - think billionaire oilmen - will include monies necessary to “make offers they cannot refuse” to state and federal governing officials.
The real challenge for them may be in dealing with the officials in order to obtain the balance of the site necessary for the original building plans.
