I don't know about that. They'll miss out on the rapture, but read Ezekiel 38 & 39. The Lord is still looking after Israel. Read Revelation... The 144,000 are Jews, and the two witnesses will end their three and a half years in Jerusalem. Christ is the only way, but this is getting beyond the meaning of the original post. All he was saying is that without Israel, there is no Christ.

There’s another dimension to this. Some analysts have pointed out that Islam can be seen as a form of Arab nationalism. A demonstration of this is the ongoing tragedy in Darfur, where non-Arab Muslims are the targets of Arab Muslim persecution, pretty much for being non-Arab. This is also why conversion to Islam is typically followed by changing one’s name to one of Arabic origins.
In that context, the Arabic language as used in the Quran has a special, nationalistic role to play in the advancement of Islam. The Quran is supposed to be a miraculous document such that it can, when read in Arabic, by virtue of the beauty and spiritual power of that language, provide an additional level of religious experience confirming the truth of Islam.
Therefore, Obama, in asserting the superiority of beauty of the call to prayer, is sending a coded message that almost no one in the West can pick up, that he believes Islam is true, because he has personally experienced the miraculous power of the Quran as rendered in Arabic.
Having said that, I am not sure he is anything other than a very cynical Nietzschean atheist, willing and able, due to a complete lack of conscience, to play both sides of the religious war to his own advantage. I think his deity is either Marx, or himself, or some conflation of the two. But only God knows for sure.

At least keep it civil. I was just trying to point out that Israel (the territory) goes back before Christ who is a direct decedent of King David. His blood line being that of the Jewish faith is the basis for his becoming the King of Man, Prince of Peace, and the head of the Christian Church: both Catholic and Protestant.
We cannot isolate and turn our backs on Israel.

The real issue is whether Obama looks at the world from an Islamic perspective. I think the answer is that clearly he does. It doesn't matter whether he faces Mecca and bangs his forehead on the floor five times a day. What matters is that in any issue involving a Muslim and a non-Muslim, Obama is on the side of the Muslim.
Sounds like you have no clue on the future unconditional promises God made to Israel. Unless you proscribe to replacement theology.. In which case you are the fool.
