You are welcome. And again, for the record, I am not a Mormon and I’m quite sure I’ll never be a Mormon and if I were in a discussion on the relative merits of Mormonism vs other religions I’m sure I could add some points of interest in that discussion.
But that’s NOT the discussion when we’re talking about the Beck rally since he never once, from what I heard from the people who were there or from the video I saw, pushed or promoted Mormonism. He was pushing and promoting America.
And that’s what should be what’s under discussion when we’re talking about this topic, America, not Mormonism and in fact, not even Beck, since he wasn’t pushing himself, either.
Maybe the rally wasn’t all things to all people, but the message was unmistakable.
Hundreds of thousands of ordinary Americans took the time and spent the money to come to Washington, meet up, and express their displeasure with the current hijacking of our country.
And there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that! American Patriotism at its finest.
(Just waiting for Pelosi to demand an investigation into WHO paid for all those airline tickets...)
