For anyone who wondered why the link went to a YouTube video with Nina Simone singing...Here is the link to AnyStreet.org — says it is about conservative community organizing.

http://www.anystreet.org/

That could be useful, as I have not heard anything yet about a ‘massive voter registration drive’ for conservatives (like what Acorn did for Obama in 2008).

One of the www.AnyStreet.org 's initiatives IS voters' registration, amongst a lot of other actions and events. It does take people to make this work. The reason why ACORN and OFA have been (unfortunately) so successful in community activism (despite the way the chose to do it) is because of the obscene amount of volunteers eager to do the work.

Anyone can join www.Anystreet.org but who will actually show up to do the "boots on the ground" work that it takes in order to not just win in 2010 and 2012 but do a permanent shift into the direction our Republic has taken?

We've been arrogant and almost demeaning toward the OFA (formerly www.barackobama.com) and ACORN for knocking on doors and being active in our communities, when, in fact, this is the only way to do it. It takes truly hard work and, despite what we're witnessing today, people are still hesitating, not eager to leave the comfort of their homes, computer chairs and television sets and take back their own streets and communities.

ARE YOU WILLING TO DO FOR THE TRUTH WHAT THE LEFT IS DOING FOR A LIE??

Started April 15, 2009 at my state capitol, Lansing Michigan. Been going ever since.

So you know precisely what it takes to do this on an ongoing basis, relentless. The left is at it 24/7/365 and they just do not stop. While we were in DC at the "Restore Honor" rally, they were knocking on our doors, in our neighborhoods. They will do the same this coming weekend.

I am at a point where I just want to shake people into the realization that the real battle is on our streets. Reaching out to people in real life and talking to people and being able to present the real facts, have that face to face interaction with someone who sees that there is something fundamentally wrong with what is happening today but they are unsure what to do next. The only way we will convince the unsure, the independents and even the hardcore progressive is in real life and not online, preaching to our own (as I am currently doing here) :)

Exactly. I was in D.C. 9/12 last year and 8/28 this year and have been to local protests/gatherings in and around my county also.

I did 9/12 last year but not this year. I decided to stay home and organize locally instead. We’re only 57 days away from elections general...
