I never knew that and I’ve lived here all my life. I’ve always thought of them as deep in the woods type of people. I’ve never really ventured out that way though. Such a shock!

I completely felt that my area which is located right above Rhode island was liberal. Boy was I wrong. I was extremely pleased at the results. Guess I’ll stay put!

I grew up in Needham. Fairly conservative for MA back in the ‘60s and ‘70s. Not now. Full of yuppified moonbats.

Remember, western MA is home to leftist campuses like U Mass, Williams, Mount Holyoke, Smith, Amherst College and truly bizarre Hampshire College. Also, when the NYC and Cambridge/Beacon Hill elites choose the mountains for summer vacation, they go to the Berkshires.
