Actually, he said it was capricious and destructive and he called Demint’s endorsement of O’Donnell irresponsible. Wow!
I heard today Castle is for cap-and-trade, and launched a nuts-and-sluts attack on O'Donnell.
Maybe Charles Krauthammer would prefer Rosie O'Donnell.
He's beyond-wrong here--and with an attitude of condescension not seen since Peter Jennings.
From Charles Krauthammer’s Wikipedia page:
“Religion
Charles Krauthammer describes himself as Jewish but “not religious.”
-
I’ve noticed quite a large proportion of Americans to whom that description would apply - are almost viscerally frightened of what Palin represents.
While most Americans were joining Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts, learning to camp and cooking smores. The elitists, were. Well not in church. And not at temple.
They’re agnostic, self-absorbed eastern elites. They live in a bubble which they’ve come to believe is reality.
“Republican but not conservative”. They write books and talk at each other every Sunday.
Not one of them could survive in the out of doors for a week, with a fishing pole, lighter and a canteen.
All of them, stand to lose when middle America takes back over.
THE SOONER THE BETTER. Unprincipled stuffy creeps.
O'Donnell has a now-proven history of being a liar and a scammer. Check out this weekend's Weekly Standard story on her.
TEA and other failed us miserably when they did no due diligence beyond her self-promoting statements when they endorsed her.
TEA, Palin, DeMint are all great, but they needed to do their homework here, and did not.
We need to look deeper into these candidates, check them out.... and stop falling in love with anyone who attends a few TEA Party meetings and proclaims themselves a Conservative.
Charles also said Joe Miller was going to lose,
and that Lisa Murkowski was a certain winner.
Did Charles ever get around praising Sarah for endorsing the winner?
LOL.
Unfortunately party loyalty is why we are where we are today.
But nobody trusts “Weekly Standard” when it comes to intra Republican competition.
Krauthammer also says in the second half of the video that Obama has made some changes that are structural and probably irreversible, such as Obamacare.
So, he thinks Obamacare is irreversible. He’s definitely not providing any encouragement for a big, conservative surge in races for Congress. Smart guy, and a big Beltway insider, if not an elitist.
I’m glad to find out I’m not the only one who disagreed with him today.
Castle voted with Dems for Bush impeachment resolution

Read the article. The facts are undeniable.... and now even O'Donnell does not deny them.
Read the article.
If you watch the video I think he is very clear in his reasoning. He doesn’t think O’Donnell can win in the general. He thinks the primary goal is stopping Obama, and that is best served by having a majority control of the Senate. It is a rational/fair strategic argument. I don’t know anything about Delaware, so no clue if O’Donnell really doesn’t have a shot in the general. I’d love to hear from locals on that.
Much as I love Chuck, he also predicted Miller would lose. Big time. He was wrong. HE is wrong here, too.
And the hit piece from Barnes' Weekly subStandard was pathetic. Clue to Fred and Bill (Kristol) - keep your "beltway" haughtiness out of this race. "Regular" American's are sick and tired of it.
Just read more on this race. Looks to me that one big fact here that also has gotten much, if any, talk time is that, since this is an open seat, the winner of the Nov. 2 election will be seated immediately.
So if a Republican wins, the Rats could wake up on Nov. 3 facing dim prospects for their vaunted lame duck session. That is, IF a strong Republican is elected.
This seems akin to the situation Scott Brown was in with Obamacare. His promise to vote against Obamacare — regardless of what else he did — was enough to put him over the top, even with the people of Massachusetts.
It may be that promising to be strongly opposed to the Rat agenda during the lame duck session may be an added incentive to the people of DE to go with O’Donnell.
Does anyone know how he voted on the amnesty bills in 2006 and 2007?
Well Put. Kraut is Jaded by his worldview and mis gudied by the people he surrounds himself with. Castle is 99% liberal and as such would not agree with all of the people being elected into Congress. To have him or others like him win would be an major error that could lead to a third party.
Because the people will have had enough of Big Government Republicans qho are the same as Big Government Liberals and thus no different than Obama.
Anyone who mentions Krauthammer’s disability is way off base. What does his being in a wheelchair have to do with his judgment? Geez...
Do you know ANYTHING about Castle’s voting record?
Yep. It is the establishment against the Tea Party outsiders.
