How many DWI convictions does it take for an illegal alien to be jailed on an "immigration detainer" by ICE? One? Two? Three? Nope. Try FOUR + a homicide. Robert Benn of TN was struck and killed soon after he landed in Austin for a business trip by Jaime Bonilla, an illegal with 3 prior DWI convictions, yet roaming free in the sanctuary city of Austin. The people of TX and TN must DEMAND answers from ICE, DHS and the City of Austin as to why this illegal alien slimeball felon was free to drink and drive (and KILL) again and again.

With the City Council Austin has, and a police chief that is more politician than police officer, I guess we shouldn’t be surprised.
Not a big trial lawyer fan but I would love to see one of these “sanctuary cities” bankrupted by a jury after one of these murders.

Amen. It happens all the time here in California. Whenever I read a local news story about an innocent victim killed by a drunk driver 90% of the drunk drivers have names like Jose Garcia Ramirez, Felipe Calderon Martinez. The media never identifies them as illegal aliens. The use of two last names (father’s last name followed by mother’s last name) is a good indicator the driver is illegal, unlicensed, and uninsured. In Mexico getting caught for drunk driving is no big deal....pay the Mexican cop a few pesos and you are on your way. Drunk driving is considered to be macho behavior.
The judges that kept this guy out of jail and drinking should be arrested and charged themselves.

The answer is a malady in our society known as Leftism, but to others as simply Liberalism. It’s a malady that can be reduced to a less harmful effect upon our society if only people would pull their heads out of their butts, and pay attention.
We must never, ever vote into political office anyone espousing Leftism, Liberalism, Marxism, governmentalism. These are the most dangerous people on Earth as is proven everytime they gain leadership positions especially en masse, and foist their perspectives upon society. They are the ones that find ways to allow criminals to wreak havoc upon our society over, and over again amongst other affronts.
What’s amazing to me is the fact that the Leftists, Liberals, are actually the minority in Society growing in size through indoctrination, not due any success, as their repetitious, and stale ideologies fail not only them, but all of our Society over, and over, and they never learn, and we don’t pay attention until we are in a pickle created by them, and have to do some heavy duty cleanup work.
WE have to pay attention. It’s our responsibility to keep them the “H” out of our lives, and we haven’t done a good job of that to date.

Zack intends to hold public hearings across the country to “study” whether the US legal system is “addressing the needs of Hispanics.”

The ABA is no longer concerned with “US law.” They Are Peddling Race Instead of Law. The ABA is poised to segregate Americans into classes each with their own “laws.”
According to the ABA, we now have “Hispanic law,” “African American law,” "Sharia Law," “Gay Law.” ………………… maybe a little “White law” thrown in here and there. Maybe “non-human law” is next? In case your dog might want to sue someone.
The reason we have “Hispanic law”? Because Stephen N. Zack the new president of the ABA is a Cuban-lawyer from Miami, Florida. Can you say conflict of interest?
