The plot's weird..but briefly, a bunch of bombs go off at a police funeral, killing and injuring several officers. A piece of a cell phone, which was used as the bomb trigger, is found, and the phone is traced back to a "patriots" group...the police interrupt the meeting, which is staged, with flags, banners and signs, to, IMHO, resemble a Tea Party demonstration.

Indeed, the speaker, when the cops enter, is talking about "taking back our country" and utters the phrase "speak truth to power" ( now where have we heard that before..hmmm?)

Anyone else see it?

I watched it. Since the group doing the bombing is not identified, it would be up to the viewer to determine who they are.

Likewise, “Criminal Minds” premier last night showed the Emergency Alert System as a bureaucratic nightmare that was ultimately solved when the Secretary of DHS stepped in personally to cut through all the red tape and get the blonde access to the EAS. Never saw her, the name Napolitalo was never mentioned, but “Thank you, Madame Secretary, thank you!” was repeated several times.

I stopped watching the only show I liked on the National Barack Channel, Law & Order a few years ago after a series of shows when the predominant theme was evil right wing.

I prefer NCIS. In fact NCIS is the only current series I watch on TV. Much more conservative.
