As a consequence of my job description, I monitor the comments left on various posts and there's a clear narrative being disseminated prior to the upcoming midterm elections: the Tea Party, independents, and anyone with the audacity to oppose Democrats are uninformed, clueless, stupid, dumbasses.
Just ask Massachusetts senator John Kerry...
"We have an electorate that doesnt always pay that much attention to whats going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or whats happening."This is clearly nothing new.

Yeah, like "hope and change."
He means "reeducated" not "uneducated" perhaps?
Kerry’s big problem is that voters ARE aware of what’s been going on.
Americans have seen their standard of living go in the toilet. Many are now unemployed and living in poverty (unlike Hanoi Boi Kerry). There are no jobs. Taxes are getting ready to go up. The DemocRATS are still trying to revive their Cap’n Tax hoax and scam. Our healthcare is getting ready to go south while we will be forced to pay more for it. The world now sees America as a toothless old tiger. When he’s not playing golf or shootin’ hoops, our president is off galavanting around the world bowing down to little dictators. Sorry Hanoi boi. AMERICANS KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING ON. We are not freeloading billionaires camped out up on Capitol Hill while living off of the taxpayers’ dime, THE VOTERS ARE DOWN HERE IN THE REAL WORLD WHERE THE RUBBER MEETS THE ROAD. The voters are what makes America work. You buffoons up on Capitol Snob Hill only make it harder and more expensive for us to do what needs to be done.
OUTSTANDING Bob! Thanks for posting, watching, listening, linking, remembering. BTTT!
I am not an advocate of violence. But I really wish someone would walk up to Kerry and punch him HARD in the nose.
Exactly.
The comments I see from quite a few of my liberal friends on Facebook are similar to those quoted on this blog. Foul-mouthed, nasty, attacking, self-righteous, judgmental and most of all ... amazingly hypocritical.
Exactly my thoughts. “It’s the economy, stupid” is another.
These li(e)berals are so busy being arrogant they have no clue how stupid they really are.
One of my younger daughters happened to run into an older lady on the beach the other day. They got to talking, and after an hour and a half of very interesting conversation, the older lady asked to exchange names.
Her name was Forbes. It turned out out that she was a cousin, and that the lady remembered me as a boy—and I remember her, although I haven’t seen her for 50 or 60 years.
Somehow the conversation touched on John FORBES Carey. The lady said about the Senator, who is evidently a cousin of hers—and therefore, I suppose, a very distant cousin of mine—something to the effect of: “Oh, yes. We’re not very proud of him.”
If its the truth one is after its generally best to invert whatever a liberal slug like Kerry says - that’ll get you what you want to know faster’n anything.
Arrogant liberals all need a good punch in the nose. Maybe it would help wake them up.
His slogan for the 2004 Prez run was Let America be America again.

“We will tell you what is in the bill after we pass the bill”.
Pelosi & her cohorts talking about the NObama HELLTH care bill—over 2400 pages of it.
If we are UNINFORMED, per John F’n Kerry, it is because his loyal Democrats choose NOT to tell us what is in any bill they run thru both halves of the Congress.
They should be jailed for such activity.
“...[T]here’s a clear narrative being disseminated prior to the upcoming midterm elections: the Tea Party, independents, and anyone with the audacity to oppose Democrats are uninformed, clueless, stupid, dumbasses.”
That has been their rhetoric since Woodrow Wilson. Self description as “Progressive” has the inherent implication that one’s opponents are regressive, which in turn connotes degeneracy, decline and ultimate collapse. They have only ramped up the rhetoric since then, with the open condescension and hostility speeding up and lifting off the runway after WWII, and escaping earth orbit over the past 10 years. I don’t think the intensity of leftist hatred has increased one bit in this time - it has simply become more brazen.
I sense a coming resolution, one way or the other. They have all they wanted except submission, their ideas, policies and programs are demonstrable failures and can only be maintained with money that does not exist, and probably never will. Sooner or later they must resort to coercive force and political terror.
They will not back down on their encroachments and we will not submit to further oppressions. The rest follows logically. The unknowns are the actual numbers involved, degrees of resolve, outside factors and providence.
I am going into saccharine shock.

Well, I guess we will have to stupid them all the way to oblivion.
No More Mr. Nice Guy.
