Did you forget the sarcasm tag or are you really that naive? The Freeper troll, non-sequitur, is just as the name implies. Any information given in this person’s posts is fallacy, misdirection, and outright deception. You can depend on finding him/her here, posting away, and being impervious to your criticism. It is predictably cynical and biased.
Non-seq came to FR for one reason and that reason is on FR for all to see in his/her own words..... Because he/she was banned from other sites because of his/her obsession with slavery and the civil war. He/she came here,(in his/her own words) because Jim Robinson allowed him/her to spend his/her life re-living the civil war, name calling, arguing, etc.
When does a interest become an obsession? Well for non-sequ that interest became an obsession many years ago. The question is... why? He/she is not a Southerner, so no harm no foul. He/she is a Yankee from Chicago that now lives in Kansas City, yet he/she is absolutely obsessed with Lincoln. Lincoln is his/her God. His/her head literally explodes when anyone says bad things about skinny ole dishonest Abe the tyrant who has murdered more Americans than all foreign countries combined.
He/she detests anything that has to do with the South or Southerners. He/she even makes fun of sweet tea, now how petty is that? He/she hates Baptists, the Army and anyone in it or that ever served in it. He/she hates Beck, Palin, both Bush’s, Fox News but loves Jon Stewart. Bottom line, non-seq is a long time, long know FR troll who came to FR because he/she could demean and go off on Southerners and JR would allow it. It won’t deny what I’ve said because it knows that I will post the posts where he/she said it.
Oh and just an FYI, old time FReepers that have been here for 10 years call non-sequitur “the squirter troll”.
Actually, I am one of those Freepers that have been here over 10 years and I don’t call non-seq “squirter troll”. I stay off the civil war threads—have seen non-seq on some contemporary threads, and seen some of non-seqs voluminous responses in the latest posts preview. Non-seq has encyclopedic knowledge about the civil war...but I could tell it was one-sided...however, IN THIS THREAD, I felt that non-seqs responses to me were reasoned and polite enough, hence I did not respond like I would to a troll.
I’m not here to criticize—I’m here to post my opinions, read other peoples, find information and work on critical analysis skills. If someone else has a different agenda, so be it. But I won’t call someone a troll who hasn’t acted like one in a reasoned discussion. Perhaps non-seq has with you (as I said, I really don’t post on the civil war threads) and your opinion is valid...I just haven’t seen it in this thread. (Not from non-seq...thebigIF on the other hand.....)
