We expect our politicians particularly governors and presidents to focus a good deal of attention on job creation (the wrong philosophy may cause their efforts to fail, but at least theyre expected to try). A continuous increase in employment opportunities is obviously critical for both the individual and the economy at large, not to mention the fact that the difference between employment and unemployment is soon to be a key driver in each voters level of satisfaction on Election Day.
So it has been surprising to see, over the past two years, how much the Obama administration, instead of focusing its efforts on job creation, has focused its energy on acting as an engine of quite intentional job destruction.
This is not the exaggeration of campaign season. Any honest analysis of the Obama administrations economic policy must admit that it has frequently overreacted in ways that have both directly and indirectly thrown hundreds of thousands of Americans out of work. In this environment of negative job creation, these utterly unnecessary terminations have condemned millions to suffer long-term unemployment or underemployment, as the usual progression (in a normal growth economy) from a lost job to a newly-created one has practically ceased.
Consider the 2009 dealership purge. Hot on the heels of the unconstitutional nationalization of two of the big three American automakers, President Obamas minions ordered the immediate closure of some three thousand Chrysler and GM dealerships.

“We expect our politicians .. to focus a good deal of attention on job creation”
The only jobs a politician can create are as his aides, etc.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot.
And women for his brothels.
The difference beween this regime and Al Capone’s operatioin was that Al wanted as many prosperous businesses as possible to extort protection from, and would help them to stay prosperous, provided they paid. The Illegal and his communist henchmen just want to destroy. We’d be far better off if Capone and his accomplices were in charge.
Ummm... Not exactly, Pessimist...
To the point that job creation isn’t the government’s job; it’s the private sector’s, that’s absolutely correct.
But politicians can and do indeed contribute to the environment of job creation, to the extent that they obey or disobey John Galt’s admonition to “Get out of my way!”

It isn’t unconstitutional (the car takeover) if our Supremes are asleep at the switch. They get to tell what is and what isn’t constitutional. Heck, they foisted this dummy on us by denying discovery. They are a party to the destruction of the country.
“. . .Not only does ObamaCare destroy the plans of building 60 more doctor-owned hospitals, but it has killed the jobs of thousands of American construction workers, electricians, carpet layers, plumbers, janitors, cafeteria workers, landscapers, florists, medical technicians, receptionists, and many other untold jobs, both pre- and post-operational. ObamaCare has abruptly halted the sale of millions of dollars of medical equipment. . .”
That's COMRADE 0bama to you!
Destruction of the economy is necessary to for the Proletariat workers to be herded into submission.
Seems like all of President Obama’s former associates are well left of center.
