Rahm Emanuel was heckled by angry Chicago voters yesterday during his first listening tour of the city. Making the unexpected scene even more embarrassing for the former White House Chief of Staff—who used to get his sick jollies from mailing dead fish to political rivals—was the fact that he even invited the media to tag along on the tour, and they ended up capturing every humiliating moment. Yet another mortifying aspect to Emanuel’s first listening tour of Chi-town was his careful obsession with trying to control all the stops on the tour—all were pre-selected by him—which did him no good since angry Chicago voters found him anyway…and told him to his face how much they blamed him for the Obama Administration’s failure to create jobs for residents of Chicago’s South Side.

This couldn’t be happening to a “nicer” guy.
His desire to berate and belittle the voters was probably almost overwhelming.
I hope more of the same happens to him so he will be discouraged and drop out of the race!

Tipsville: Is this an answer to whom Mayor Daley will endorse?
• To wit: Sneed is told mayoral hopeful Rahm Emanuel was the ONLY mayoral candidate seated at Mayor Daley’s family table at the U.S. Holocaust Museum annual lunch at the Sheraton Chicago hotel Monday.
• The buckshot: And, yes, Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart was there . . . but he has yet to officially announce his entrance into the mayoral sweepstakes. Other attendees included U.S. Sen. hopeful Alexi Giannoulias, his GOP opponent, Mark Kirk, and Illinois House Speaker Mike Madigan.
The exit door . . .
Hmmm. Sneed hears whispers preliminary plans are afoot to show Democratic National chairman Tim Kaine the exit door by Team Obama after the mid-term elections. (The next DNC chief would reportedly take complete direction from Obama’s re-election gurus David Axelrod and David Plouffe.)
• The upshot: The exit door reportedly will open up onto an ambassadorship or Cabinet spot. Stay tuned.

One can certainly understand why average Americans like Paul Johnson are having none of Emanuel’s glad-handing and hypocritical BS about caring for the voters, which is just a cynical attempt on his part anyway to simply trick more uninformed voters into voting for him, the latest Obama Administration reject. After all, the Chicago area is suffering higher unemployment than the whole US, which is saying something pretty bad, considering that the national unemployment average is almost at an inglorious 10%. Not to mention that Chicagoans’ health insurance is skyrocketing as it is in so much of the country, thanks to the uncertainty of Obamacare. When you think about it, it really is a high act of shameless audacity that “Dead Fish” Emanuel himself is actually smiling his insincere smile to Chicago voters when the administration that he was a part of has caused so much pain to the area—as it has to much of the country.

There’s a nasty, dirty little secret about Chicago politics that’s likely to stop Emanuel: many of the blacks are virulently racist, possessing something close to a shower bath, as in gazcomber, level of anti-semitism. All anyone who doubts this needs to do is look to the “Rev.” Wright’s “church,” one of the largest black churches in Chicago; the large, virulent population of Black Muslims led by the “Rev.” Farrakhan; and, of course, our old friend the “Rev.” JJ. Since he has to swim through this toxic soup of political Zyklon B, I doubt that Rahm will ever enter the mayor’s office as anything other than a visitor.
It’s amazing, still, that we have to depend on news feeds from the UK and Canada to get this type of reporting.
