NAPLES — The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible death threat made against a Naples-based online evangelist who has called Islam a “false religion” about “death and hate,” and who is trying to build a “Christian Center” at ground zero in New York City in response to the planned mosque.

Bill Keller, 52, who hosts a paid-programming television show on MyTV8, which he described as the O’Reilly Factor from a “Biblical perspective,” said the threat was on his voicemail when he returned home Tuesday afternoon from New York City."

SNIPPET: “The caller identifies herself as “Sahar Mohammed” from the Fort Myers-based Islamic Center of Southwest (Florida), and provides the center’s phone number. She said she is angry at Keller for insulting Allah.”

SNIPPET: “Imam Ibraheem Lambat, 27, of the Islamic center, said he doesn’t recognize the caller, and said his center has no members named “Sahar Mohammed.” Lambat called the threat “disturbing” and said the members of his mosque “condemn this kind of behavior.” He was not aware of the threat until provided a copy by the Daily News.

Lambat said he believes the caller co-opted his center’s name, and asks why, if the caller was making a threat, she would provide a phone number.”

Did the caller use a voice scrambler or something?

It was very difficult to understand.

If you used a voice scrambler it would be very stupid then to identify yourself and give a phone number. Unless of course you were trying to frame someone.
