VA Suspends RKBA For 116,000 Veterans!!(Richard Burr, NC)
John Jacob H’s RKBA Commentary ^ | 10/14/2010 | John Jacob H’s RKBA Commentary

Maybe I have fallen behind on my mail, but I had no idea things were this far out of control.

My fading memory seems to recall mucho chatter about Veterans Disarmament a few years ago, but I thought the bill had been defeated and quietly disappeared.

Not so according to Gun Owners Of America.

Here is a GOA Alert about the current status of Veterans Disarmament. CLICK LINK HERE

Tantalizing Excerpt:

Those who want to claim that there is no “Veterans Disarmament Act” ignore, first of all, that up to 140,000 veterans have ALREADY BEEN DISARMED by using twisted interpretations of the federal code. That figure was released on August 1 by Congress’ own research team — the Congressional Research Service.

Senator Richard Burr tells a tale I have not heard before.

Many links to back up his version for the link thirsty.

If true, this is about as ominous as it gets.

Best regards to all,

I can’t believe that a whole slew of Republican and even a few Democrat congresscritters would not eagerly grab this issue and make a huge stink!

As a psychotic’s world spins beyond his(her) control, often their behavior becomes increasingly less controlled, even bizarre.

America’s Liberals are suffering from such pressures as the socialism they worked for for nearly a century is rejected by the electorate.

Regardless of their behavior, the normal far outnumber the abnormal. We do, quite literally, surround them.

If we remain vigilant, and vote carefully, I think the republic will not only survive, it will thrive.

As for disarming America’s Vets - who will do that dirty deed?

It is called the Veteran's Administration and is already underway.

The video is just one of many stories apparently completely under the radar.

No different than a commercial pilot getting treated for depression. He gets his license (and ability to work) taken away by the government.

Any diagnosis of PTSD will likely lead to loss of the RTKBA. Can be restored after much expense and court time.

“...gets his license (and ability to work) taken away by the government....

“Any diagnosis ....”

And that’s what is going to happen when we’re all subjected to the healthcare bill. The box checkers will make a bunch of determinations after they have all our records and the computer runs the checks and ... LO ... the police come and take away your driver’s license, your guns, any children in the house ... or whatever ... maybe your bank account & put you in a home at certain ages in certain conditions.

And NOBODY seems to be complaining that besides the expense of this massive unionization (not healthcare) effort by the cetralists, the most dangerous to our individual liberty is a database with all our personal information. EVERYTHING AVAILABLE TO EVERY GOVERNMENT WORKER (50% of those employed).

NO THANKS.

“There are enough of us would be willing to extend an invation for the Feds to come try to disarm us.”

They know that. Administrative measures will be applied first, and troublemakers will be picked up shopping, in malls, at work. They are arranging things so that at any given time there is no real target, nothing to shoot at.

You can’t live in a sandbag bunker all the time.

It’s when we act politically in a large organized group that we win. We need the same organization to start/sustain/win a shooting war.

EGAD!!! Low flying stealth bureaucratic toadies hell bent on infringing one of our unalienable rights.

November can't come soon enough. I hope and pray it's worth the wait.

On, no, it gets even MORE fun than just that; in 2014 the healthcare bill makes it a felony to not have health insurance.
And what do we do to felons?

If a solider returning answers that he feels stressed, they take away his RKBA.

This would be a perfect opportunity for the goa to finally have their own lawsuit on behalf of the veterans BUT THEY WON’T DO A SINGLE THING ABOUT IT.

This has been going on for the last forty years. When the NRA was finally able to change the procedure so a veteran can get their Rights back, the goa started a campaign accusing the NRA of “supporting” veteran’s disamament.

Anyone stupid enough to join the goa will never explain what they have ever done to support their Second Amendment Rights.

Just remember, many of us have gone the “Buy two” route – get two of the same type of gun and stash one of them away.

With the frosting on the cake of the scattering about of bits of scrap metal around to throw off any possible searches.

So good luck to the Federale Fascists – you ain't gonna be able to disarm us – SO DON'T EVEN TRY.

With all due respect, the video of Senator Burr is at a banquet hosted by a local (non NRA) group and filled with (GOA?and NRA?) supporters.

With the wealth and power NRA represents I would be delighted to see the lengthy forty year archive of links NRA has maintained on this topic.
