Sheila Jackson-Lee arrived around 6:00 last night; Congressman Al Green made an appearance about 20 minutes later. Al was pretty cool & quite friendly as he strolled into the restaurant entrance….alone. He stayed until 6:45 pm and strolled past us…alone… heading east on Dallas towards Louisiana.
Sheila’s handlers however, (especially the woman in the yellow skirt suit) looked at us with absolute disgust and disdain.
By my estimate 40-50 people turned out to contribute money to a 16 YEAR Congressional incumbents’ re-election campaign less than one week before early voting begins in Houston.
Pathetic if you ask me.

Good one...the local radio host Michael Berry here is always making fun of her on the air without mercy.He says stuff like ‘How d’ya like dem apples gurl?” well a local and healthy-sized fella was there to take it to her that night. When we got sent back across the street as we were right in the entry of the restaurant...we were even louder on the bullhorn. Tomball Tony was a hollerin’How’d ya like dem apples gurl?” Choo-Choo! real loud as her fundraiser host is the guy bringing in fed grants for useless and money-pit train projects costing billions.”Sheila...you like dem little choo choo trains?” It was a scream. We were chanting VOTE SHEILA OUT! as she entered and exited...flaring cop lights everywhere. Also being put under the microscope on unrewarded scholarships available through the Congressional Black Caucus. Faulk is outraising her..very charged volunteer group. Let’s pray!
The sign has her name spelled incorrectly.
I don’t listen to Michael Berry all the time but lately he has been on fire! I love MB!

You have to understand, humblegunner is an old maid school teacher and she just lost her job. She has to go around correcting peoples smelling and grammer so she feels important. Humor her, make mistakes on purpose so she will have something to do with her time. :D

I agree! The only thing I can think of that would be more boring than listening to baseball on the radio, it would be sitting in the stands for 10 or 12 hours (it seems that long) and watching it in person.

Sadly, old acorn head (the name really fits now) who looks for flags on planets where flags have never been, will be in office as long as she pleases. The district she represents will always re-elect her.
I looked and looked at that and did not catch it. Duh!
