UNESCO recognizes Rachel's Tomb as mosque

"United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) a few days ago, recognized the tomb of Biblical matriarch Rachel, between Bethlehem and Jerusalem, as the Mosque of Bilal Ibn-Rabach according to a Friday report by Yisrael Hayom (Israel today). The recognition was approved by a large majority despite Israeli opposition and a United States vote against the proposal."

Well, it is like a lot of other mosques around the world. It's a place where no Muslims have gone for years, and one which is considered holy to those who practice some other religion.

The descendants of Jacob were given the Land of Israel by the Almighty Himself. The deed is in Scripture. But lest anyomne question the Almighty as a legal party, Scripture records three other sites that were bought and paid for. Those same three sites are now off limits to Jews: The Temple Mount (purchased and deeded to David); the Tomb of the Patriarchs (purchased and deeded to Abraham); and the Tomb of Joseph (purchased and deeded to Joshua).

Instead of Israel giving up land for peace, they should be demanding that the squatters in "East Jerusalem" in Nablus, and Hebron go back to their home in Jordan.
