My Mom is in hospital with pneumonia in stable condition. Prayers are greatly appreciated. Her name is Toni. Thank you one and all.

Sorry to hear this. Make sure you have a physician you can trust, and make sure they explain to you exactly why they think it's pneumonia (chest X-ray findings, blood gas/oxygen saturation, blood cultures, sputum examination and culture etc.). Then ask them how they are treating her, and why. I'm sorry but with health care, even with really good physicians, nurses, and staff, it's always a good idea to make sure they are on the right track and have a good plan. You might not be able to assess this completely, but by asking the questions it will make them think.
Having said that, don't worry. She'll be fine.
