A defiant and unrepentant Nancy Pelosi says that she has no regrets about her time as House speaker. In a TV interview yesterday with Diane Sawyer for ABC "News," the terminated speaker declared that not only did she not have any regrets about her four years as speaker, but she also truly believed that she did the right thing and also "worked very hard" in her work to make sure the American people understood that. Those comments by the fired speaker will be shocking to the majority of Americans who voted in a more conservative GOP on Tuesday, seeing as how she’s either totally delusional or just stubbornly ideological to the point where she’s unreasonable. It may even be a twisted combination of both, especially when her four years as House speaker were marked by some of the worst years the US has ever seen.

Thought you said you were sure you weren’t gonna be fired before the election, Nancy. Now that it’s over and you ARE fired, you’re sticking out your chin and saying you’re glad you rammed a bunch of crap down our throats we were telling you we didn’t want. - Now that you’re fired, you can finally sit down and find out what’s in that so-called health care bill you rushed to ram through. Do it on a long flight that we aren’t paying for any more. The big party is over.

Actually, it probably surprises very few of them, and it surely affirms the necessity and wisdom of the trouncing delivered to House Dems on Tuesday. Regrettably, there are some people so delusional it’s best to remove them from situations in which they might cause themselves or others great harm. Removing Nancy Pelosi as House Speaker is not the last step in dismantling the highly toxic Obama agenda, but it obviously is a very good start.
