After two months of backroom dealing and secret meetings Chicago's African American community claims that it has chosen U.S. Representative Danny Davis as its black Democratic candidate for mayor of Chicago in 2011.
Davis beat out such luminaries as Alderman Walther Burnett, the Reverend James Meeks, and long-out-of-view Carol Moseley Braun.
Sources say that Moseley Braun lost because she has been out of the public eye for too long. But I'd guess she lost more because of all the fraud and thievery she's been involved in over the years. She isn't called Carol Mostly Fraud for nothing.
Still, regardless of who this supposed coalition chooses, the whole effort is essentially an undemocratic, anti-American process. Who are these people to set themselves up as kingmakers essentially taking the power away from the people and creating a defacto candidate that the voters are "allowed" to support?
This whole thing is a travesty of our American system and an obviation of American principle.
Good god..the man’s a hack, a clown...an incompetent boob..good luck Chi-town
But is he corrupt and ruthless enough to survive in the rough-and-tumble world of Chicago politics?
Just a suggestion.....hows about we secede as a country from CA & IL? They can be their own little countries.
The coalition of whites are cowering under their desks right now. Leave a message and they’ll get back to you.
You just don’t understand, the were “chosen” by the messiah’s in the left.
Can we bring back the portrait of Harold Washington..
Is that a new political party - the Black Democrats?
“Is that a new political party - the Black Democrats? “
Exactly the point! Who do these people think they are, ya know?
I thought her name was Carol Mostly Brown ???
