Ever since 2008, people seem inordinately interested in my reading habits. Among various newspapers, magazines, and local Alaskan papers, I read the Wall Street Journal.
So, imagine my dismay when I read an article by Sudeep Reddy in todays Wall Street Journal criticizing the fact that I mentioned inflation in my comments about QE2 in a speech this morning before a trade-association. Heres what I said: everyone who ever goes out shopping for groceries knows that prices have risen significantly over the past year or so. Pump priming would push them even higher.
Mr. Reddy takes aim at this. He writes: Grocery prices havent risen all that significantly, in fact. Really? Thats odd, because just last Thursday, November 4, I read an article in Mr. Reddys own Wall Street Journal titled Food Sellers Grit Teeth, Raise Prices: Packagers and Supermarkets Pressured to Pass Along Rising Costs, Even as Consumers Pinch Pennies.
The article noted that an inflationary tide is beginning to ripple through America's supermarkets and restaurants Prices of staples including milk, beef, coffee, cocoa and sugar have risen sharply in recent months.
Now I realize Im just a former governor and current housewife from Alaska, but even humble folks like me can read the newspaper. Im surprised a prestigious reporter for the Wall Street Journal doesnt.
- Sarah Palin
While other Republicans are sitting around still pointing fingers over the “loss” of the mid-terms, Governor Palin has taken the next step and is always a step ahead of her competitors.
You might wanta put some ice on that.........
Ouch that had to sting.
((((PING))))
After the griz attack, nothing left to slap.
Still the WSJ is the best daily periodical. Not perfect, but best choice we have.
I don’t care if she ever holds office again, she is doing a great service.
They never learn do they.

OUCH that is gonna leave a mark. I guess the most logical question to Mr. Reddy is “What do YOU read?”
Sudeep was born in Michigan and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He received a degree in biomedical ethics and history from Brown University, where he was an editor of The Brown Daily Herald. He is a member and past board secretary of the South Asian Journalists Association and a member of the Asian American Journalists Association.
Gov. Palin is the only politician of any stripe dealing with reality and saying what needs to be said. All the rest are-—————————politicing.
Thank you Sarah Palin.
Oh, and to all you arrogantly elitist libertarians and oh so superior RINOs out there I say go to hell.
We’ve got our leader and she demonstrates every day why she deserves to be our leader. The rest of the so-called presidential contenders are more afraid to fail than they are of succeeding. Unlike them authentic leaders are not afraid to take risks, do not compromise principle and are not afraid to tell you what they believe.
I defy any of Palins detractors to prove me wrong.
I love that she calls out reporters on their slanders and lies....
I’ll be back to see if you have any takers. So far I see the Palin detractors strangely quiet.
Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!!!!
Oh man... I bet that guy is going to call in sick for the next couple of days. Could you imagine the teasing he is going to get in the newsroom?
Bwahahahaha!!!!
Love her! Go Sarah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
