Rude Democrat Peter Johnson Jr. keeps cutting off Coulter in Hannity debate

Rude Democrat Peter Johnson Jr. keeps cutting off Coulter in Hannity debate. On last night’s Hannity, the top story was a discussion of the insanely invasive TSA screening procedures, so what better guest to have on than Ann Coulter to tell it like it is? Her debate opponent? Democrat Peter Johnson Jr., a lawyer and a familiar face to anyone who’s been watching Fox News Channel for the longest time, seeing as how he’s been providing mostly legal analysis for the network since 1997. However, a funny thing occurred—as it does with all Democrats, it seems—when the debate about the TSA screening process inevitably turned to profiling Arabs and Muslims: Johnson Jr. turned into a hostile, rude and harassing aggressor, refusing to let Coulter get a word in as the "debate" progressed.

Facts are nasty things, which must be contained by the left. Let’s be honest, and Hannity should’ve intervened, that the sole reason he (the dem) would not let her speak is because...should anybody know the truth, there’d be a huge backlash from this and a quick cease and desist from the public. So, the truth must not come out, no matter what you have to do to prevent it. This is not honest discourse, and Hannity should be blamed for allowing one side to control everything.

So why does the moderator permit this type of behavior

To Shery, the problem with your theory in this particular situation, which is often correct — is that Hannity came back in the next segment and made many of the points Ann was trying to make.

I think he knew that, and allowed Peter to talk over her so she could not steal his thunder (or whatever it is he has).

You people on this thread really think Johnson is a Demo Lib? Engage your brain before your mouths. He was brought on to the show to take an opposing view.

I was a little disappointed in Ann. She could have easily turned this to her advantage by simply asking Johnston if his mother ever took the time to teach him manners.

He is no longer in charge of anything. He appears as a guest or as a panel member only... when he was the face of the news and his wife was News Director... fox was at its best.

"When he got an intelligent caller from the left most times he seemed to aggressively miss the point and always came off sounding dense and unable to understand just what the caller was saying."

LOL...the best ones are the calls in which the caller agrees with Hannity and is trying to build upon or reinforce a point Hannity made. Somehow Sean perceives this as a disagreement and proceeds to argue with the caller. I've heard it happen any number of times.

Yes, I’ve heard Sean shout down callers who phoned in to say that Sean was making an excellent point. It’s weird.

>> Do you have proof that Peter Johnson, Jr. is a Democrat? <<

Proof? We don’t need no stinkin’ proof!

All we need to know is that he challenged Ann Coulter. Therefore he appears to be an underground Dhimmi agent — probably in the same class as Tokyo Rove and others of that ilk.

I never thought I’d live to see the day when anyone, no matter how pushy and rude, could cut off Ann Coulter.

I don’t know what was wrong with Hannity, except that he might secretly resent Ann Coulter. Hopefully he will comment about this today and apologize to Ann. It was like watching an abortion be performed.

I like Sean Hannity but he always gets it wrong before he gets it right.

Part of the problem was that Johnson was in-studio. It would have been difficult to shut him up.

We are NO safer - next the Lutheran terrorists will attack malls, amusement parks, stadiums. Where will the groping stop.

Seriously, there are body cavities that could contain explosives.

Sniffing dogs would be more effective.

Hannity’s heart is in the right place but his brain doesn’t work very fast.

...Hannity, perhaps the least talented debater on air,...

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. I can't stand to listen to him--especially when he allows a liberal to call in.
