What has gotten into Kirsten Powers? She has made several comments lately that were jaw-droppers!
“Note: I am NOT a Hillary fan, but at least she doesn’t hate America.”
I keep reading/hearing that. I suppose it depends on how you define hating America. She is an American, and she has family ties in the US - so she basically wants an intact US [which we can’t say any of that about bo].
But the fact is, she’s still the same old hillary, and she admires some of the same characters and has many of the same goals [nationalized healthcare for example] as bo, IMO.
She and her minions are just more politically savvy than bo and his minions.

Powers supported the Obama health care reform, and believes it is a moral imperative to supply health care to all Americans. Powers supports comprehensive immigration reform and providing a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, favors gun control, and supports equal rights for gay people in the form of universal civil unions, leaving marriage strictly as a religious institution. She opposes "don't ask, don't tell." and supports closing Guantanamo Bay and putting prisoners in federal prisons. She opposes the Iraq war, as well as the Fairness Doctrine, and a constitutional amendment to ban flag burning. She supports a strong separation of church and state. She also opposes the death penalty,
In short, she is Mario Cuomo with looks and manners.

Morris would not make a pimple on the derriere of real patriots like the other two you mentioned.
He does not belong in the same sentence with Doug Schoen and Pat Caddell.
Ha-ha! You may be right. Just remember that I never said that "orgasmic Republicans" are without fault. You can always spot them because of the flared nostrils and eyes rolled back in the head.
I agree, but it's more than that. Hillary is pretty far to the left, but she's more interested in ruling with as close to absolute power as possible than she is in changing our entire country. To her, our power and wealth are tools that she can use to accomplish her goals. To Obama, American power and wealth are the underlying problems he is trying to solve by making a country that he hates weak and poor.
This sounds more like a description of Metro-sexuals like George Clooney and Matt Damon.

I do understand what you're getting at. But the undeniable truth is one seeks to chip away and destroy our country incrementally [yes, I'm aware we've been on that slippery slope for a while now], and one wants to knock the foundation out from under us and start over [with a dictatorship].
The won despises the restrictions the Constitution puts on govt and he's out to change that. Are hillary's long-term goals the same? In studying what she's said and done in the past, and the folks she admires, it would appear so, although her reasons may be different.
Using the frog in the boiling water scenario -- it could be that hillary would use a slow boil, but the frog is still in the pot, still cooking - bo would toss the frog into the fire and be done with it if he could.
