Healthcare: What a Mess
Creating Orwellian Worldview ^ | 11/22/10 | Alaphiah

With Sisyphean deception, Pelosi and Democrats passed into law a measure, which she once described as a gift or a Christmas present to the American people. If a gift, it is just as much a gift as the Trojan horse was a gift to the people of Troy. In fact, the people of Troy had to pull the massive horse into their fortified city before they found out that their destruction lurked inside. The Trojan horse instance sums up the Pelosi, Reid and president Soetoro’s health care law.

It is a mess by the clearest of logic: one's health is a personal issue, which can in one way be rigorously and honestly addressed through head to head negotiation with a healthcare or insurance provider. Is that not what the responsibility of life is all about? When a third party, in this case the government, interferes in and controls that negotiation, with no investment other than seeking its own political power, then you truly have a can of worms which will never end.

None of us should be so naive as to think there are not even "Republican" politicians who do not secretly desire to have this power of interdiction in people's lives; as in the case of lawyers who generally who want to extract self-importance and money from all social interactions.

There is virtually no politician in Washington DC who really is willing to place the citizens autonomy and dignity above his/ or especially her (like in nannyism) self importance.

When one comes to realize this egomanaical dynamic, along with the fact of the modern ability of virtually every citizen to access and evaluate competitive products and services (as in internet), one comes to the realization of how really ugly our centralized government is. Is that not obvious in the prosaic personal instances of a Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, or the arrogant Harvard a**holes?

The solution of course is to cut off centralized government, its authority, and its funding, at the knees. I believe we will all subsequently get by, and in the long run prosper in individual dignity like no other society on Earth.
