According to its Wikipedia page, the neighborhood of Albany Park, one of 77 in Chicago, is "one of the most ethnically diverse in the United States". A stroll down Lawrence Avenue, between Kedzie and Pulaski, reveals the melting pot that we'd like all of the United States to be.

The fact that Albany park is home to influential Chicago Democrats and has a severe garbage problem should surprise no one. When you have a preponderance of people who thinks that they’re “owed” something, then you have a lot of people who cannot see any reason why they should worry about garbage or anything else.

It doesn’t have a severe garbage problem. It has the same garbage problem most areas of Chicago have and is not nearly as bad as many areas on the south and west sides.

At most Jan Schakowsky has only a small corner of Albany Park. It’s mostly Luis Gutierrez territory—the gerrymandering in the city means that few neighborhoods are not split between congressional districts.

O’Connor only has a small portion—Dick Mell is THE alderman for Albany Park.

Tendentious article.

I’ve noticed certain areas throughout the country that are “diverse” have huge garbage problems. Though the two worst garbage problems on a large scale are on the road between Shreveport, LA and Texarcana begininning exactly at the Arkansas border. Then along the railline between Arizona, and Sinaloa Mexico. Of course every rural town in central america, as well large cities in africa might as well be landfills.
