I hope you’re correct, but there are troubling signs that the Republicans didn’t get the message on November 2nd. They are negotiating with Obama (when Republicans negotiate with the left freedom loses). For instance, unemployment insurance (which is not really insurance at the federal level) is going to be extended to prevent the tax increase. There aren’t many Republicans discussing the kind of serious spending cuts and entitlement reforms that need to happen (and that’s where all the money is, not in earmarks or NPR). The left still has incredible power at it’s disposal with regard to bureaucracies (EPA). Millions of children are being indoctrinated every day in public schools. It’s not time for cake and ice cream my friend. The death of the Democrats and the left in general has been widely exaggerated.

Democrats being in the majority has actually got the MSM going after them (Democrats) and Obama, since last year. Many many Republicans have claimed this could never happen, but I kept saying they would. I saw it all before in 1993+1994

Republicans are playing a 'great hand' well by holding firm. Watching Democrats have the upper hand the last three years of Bush was very painful so this is enjoyable. But don't kid yourself, these Republicans are unlikely to take stands on cutting spending or removing popular Obama-care mandates, things that are tough politically. The tax extension fight is an easy winner for them.

But this post is not about Republicans, it is about celebrating Democrats failure. Enjoy!

Rahm volunteered for “Sar’el”——a three-week Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) training program (like US boot camp) where civilians are trained to assist the Israeli military. Civilians like Rahm lived on an IDF military base to get the proper training. A civilian volunteer, Rahm assisted the IDF during the 1991 Gulf War, repairing truck brakes in one of Israel’s northern bases.

No one defends Republicans so I'm doing it.

No one realizes these are great victories, stopping that progressive income tax, etc. .If the Dream act amnesty gets stopped than Republicans should be applauded and all of you should apologize to Republicans. It is only Republicans that stopped this, none of you didn't, none of you came up with that idea of signing that letter blocking all democrat bills , none of you has threatened the FCC to not censor the Internet NO .guess who did that ?
