Clinton Won't Shut Up-Obama Forced To Leave Stage Humiliated
CNN | 12-10-10 | vanity

Posted on 12/10/2010 1:57:49 PM PST by icwhatudo

Watching Obama and clinton press conference live on CNN. Obama tries to nudge Clinton off stage, you can even see him lower his shoulder to push his way in front of podium but clinton would not move. Finally after standing around looking like a child who's dad has to fix things, Obama pats clinton on the back and tries to save face by exiting the stage. clinton simply keeps on talking as if he is still president and a servant just left the room.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS!

I don’t want him removed. He might be replaced by someone competent. Biden seems like a real nutcake but one doesn’t really know until after the change is made.

VIDEO

Note how he tries to move his shoulder over but clinton actually moves toward him to keep him away from the podium.

Clinton is a pro and knows a rank amateur when he sees one.

It's not just a stage where this occurred, but a world stage. BC blatantly and definitely stole Obama's thunder.

Before the first Presidential vacancy (in 1841) I think a lot of people assumed that the Vice President would be known as the "Acting President" if he had to assume the duties of the office, but John Tyler insisted on being called President. Much later that was made explicit by the 25th amendment (ratified in 1967).

I read something not long ago about why having the Speaker of the House as next in line after the Vice President is a bad idea for several reasons. It's up to Congress to set the order of succession and it would be better to go back to having the Secretary of State next after the VP (well, in general, maybe not right now given the trail of convenient mysterious deaths which followed in the Clintons' wake).

I suppose a Speaker who became Acting President could nominate a Vice President, and then resign after the VP was confirmed--but the Speaker would then have no job to go back to.

Truly!

How are they taking it over at DU, or did their server explode?

DU has been in complete meltdown for weeks now. I almost pity these people. They really believed in the “I’m going to get my pony” by electing the bama.

Now they realize how bad they have been had and are in complete 5 stages of loss.

“Mr. President ...”

I think that’s polite, but it would have been more accurate to call him Mr. Clinton.

There's a real rule....I had a book once that told how it went...

Notice that the seal didn't fall off the podium....heh heh heh

IIRC, George Washington was referred to as General Washington after he left office.
