Baltimore Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh talks about his Catholic faith on a video report posted on this blog. Great stuff! He's a dedicated Christian man.
I met John when he was an assistant at the University of Cincinnati. He impressed everyone with his honesty, integrity and professionalism. It was clear even then that he would go far. The man has his priorities straight.
bump for home...
So, if he is such a good Christian man, why did he beat the “Saints” yesterday?
Wish I could find a man like this. Too bad for me they’re all married. I really missed the boat. I’ll be 34 in 2 weeks & all the men my age are gone. Oh well. Guess it wasn’t meant for me.
I have new respect for the Ravens
Harbaugh, Cam Cameron, Flacco and a number of other guys is making it a lot harder to hate the Ravens.
They still have Art Modell and Ray Lewis, though. Credit to Lewis, he seems to behave himself after being involved in bad things when he was younger, and I actually have learned to admire his performance and leadership on the field.
What a nice man! I will now pull for the Ravens...unless they are playing the Falcons!
Then how can he work for the God-less, vile Ravens?
(Teasing).
“They still have Art Modell and Ray Lewis ... “
I don’t think Art Modell is an owner of the Ravens, I think he was bought out because he’s such a pathetic businessman.
But Ray Lewis... now he’s a real killer!
Modell is long gone.
About Ravens’ owner Steve Bisciotti:
“Steve, an energetic visionary, quietly is dedicated to a number of important causes and projects, some associated with his deep Catholic faith. He is a board member for Catholic Charities. Bisciotti recently (2007) purchased a collection of Baltimore Colts and Johnny Unitas memorabilia, which he immediately loaned to Baltimores Sports Legends Museum. It was important to keep those memories in Baltimore and for fans to get a chance to see them, Bisciotti explains.”

Inspiring. It almost makes me a Ravens fan, almost...
