Don't kid yourself ... they would have loved to go..and take the kids . It would have been another first, a black US president attends a royal wedding..Michelle could have bought another expensive, ugly dress to put in their "library " in Chicago some day

I’d love to get an invitation to the wedding. My five years of service in the UK made me a real Anglophile. Seeing Prince Harry in BDU in Iraq and Prince William flying around in his chopper shows that these guys aren’t your typical limp-wristed Eurotrash royalty. If I WERE invited, I’d demand that they have a couple of kegs of Younger’s Tartan Bitter or Theakston’s Old Peculiar on hand.
