You are right. Obama still has work to do destroying our country or what’s left of it. Darryl Issa better come up with some impeachable offenses fast so we can give Bam Bam an early exit from the oval Office. I don’t think there will be anything left to save in 2 more years.

I suppose Id better pick up locking gas caps for the vehicles. Or should I sell them and start taking the bus? First one, then the other. Then acquire hardened vehicles.

The local radio news reported $3.75 a gallon by spring. Of course this was AM radio and the same station that carries Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh.Well my Gawd....run for the hills!!!!!

I am not an economist, a banker etc but I understand the fed bond values are tanking due to the massive federal debt. Other countries sooner than later will stop buying US bonds, only a fool would buy them in the current economic climate. If the US dollar has no intrinsic value neither will the US bonds. Again, on a business as usual basis, how will the government continue to operate if they have no or not enough revenue? Answer, our gubment will need to nationalize the federal debt thus declaring the USA bankrupt, or support the bond values with hard assets; i.e. real estate, our energy resources and so on. I understand that Russia will soon take control of an American uranium mine, so maybe the transfer of assets has already started. I don't think we are indebted to Russia so I don't know why this administration agreed to do that. Maybe someone can chime in and educate me on that issue. From where I sit, keeping our powder dry may be a good idea.

I have been working on motion detector induced aiming for my roof mounted machine guns to protect the parking area. The mine field is more than adequate for the house and yard.

$2.90....here for unleaded gas.

Don't forget significant loiter capability for ground suppression air cover. I'm leaning toward autonomous weather balloons with powered navigation turbofans, and auto-targeting mini-guns.
I don't know, we'll see what Mrs. Comedian got me for Christmas. I might just need helium and more ammo...

I understand that Russia will soon take control of an American uranium mine, so maybe the transfer of assets has already started. The Russians might just demand Alaska back as settlement. And... with Palin from Alaska, Obama might just give it to them.... Talk about "foreign born" and stroke of the pen... law of the land! Palin had better move to Texas, fast!

4.00 a gallon gas will kill any growth in the economy. That's exactly what popped the last bubble.
The fundamentals were bad; all it needed was a push, much like this economy.

I see no legal way to prevent $5 per gallon gas. As you know, the cost of gas is a result of the price of oil that is set daily by auction. It is as transparent as anything can be, you can even bet if it will go up or down in the future and make money yourself.
You’re right, of course, a high gas price of gas will impact our recovery. We should have developed alternative fuels 20 or 30 years ago.
