I enjoy making up politically correct versions of Christmas carols. But today many young people are unfamiliar with the carols we knew so well. This year I listened to radio and watched TV in the weeks before Christmas. Unless I tuned to a religious station, carols were few and far between. Even mall music included fewer carols than in the past.
My favorite carol is “Good King Wenceslas.” It expresses the essence of religion: not dogma but treating our fellow humans with kindness. But I haven’t heard it on TV or radio for years. Kids used to grow up hearing carols like this for Christmas, hearing patriotic music for Independence Day, and hearing Sinatra sing “My Way” and Elvis sing “Love Me Tender.” Now kids grow up hearing rap and that Grammy-nominated favorite, “F**k You.” Can you believe that what young people are exposed to during their formative years has no effect on them?
Someone who steals the financial inheritance of young people is called a thief and is sent to prison. But someone who steals the cultural and spiritual inheritance of young people makes money with rap “music” or MTV, and is honored by being called “modern” − as in a “modern” TV executive, a “modern” musician, or a “modern” educator. But he is a worse thief − he stole something more valuable than money. And he left young people far poorer, and less able to defend their civilization against those who want to destroy it.
When we “deck the hall with nothing at all,” we demonstrate not just a lack of Christmas spirit, but also a lack of the spirit we need to survive as a people. Cultural amnesia is like Alzheimer’s − a tragic condition that robs us of our identity and is ultimately fatal.

Our heritage and history is not being passed down to the next generation and that’s tragic.
Kids learn politically correct history in school.
They are taught that the Founding Fathers owned slaves, that this was a major flaw of theirs, that they lied when Jefferson wrote “all men were created equal”, etc.
They aren’t taught about “Founding Fathers” because that would identify them as men, and that offends feminists. It’s more common to call them the “founders” or the “framers” of the constitution due to that.
They are taught that we denied civil rights to minorities and women.
They are taught that we violated the noble American Indians.
Young people today do not know about what happened at Dunkirk. They think the Battle of the Bulge is a diet commercial slogan. They don’t know about the Siege of Leningrad or Stalingrad. They don’t know what happened at Anzio. They don’t know where Omaha Beach is. They don’t know the significance of Jimmy Doolittle and his raid on Tokyo, and how that raid boosted morale in this country.
Too many young people think that Martin Luther King is an icon, but that George Washington is evil because he owned slaves.
Some think that the most important battle ever fought was the Stonewall rebellion. They are convinced that even today we are denying civil rights to an oppressed class of people in the “gay” community.
Talking to young people today about historical and cultural matters is a real eye opener. A very sad eye opener.
There is also actually a politically correct [ or rather FCC correct ] version of the F You song called Forget You. Cee Lo [ the “artist” of the “song” ] claimed that he was not trying to be sensational [ when interviewed by lapdog CBC radio ] in choosing such a provocative title & lyric but that sounds rather unbelievable because the controversy alone helped his sales & made him into a household name as the author of the “ F U” song. Gafaw gafaw... but the joke is on us & anyone dumb enough to subsidize the destruction of culture & art.
how come only christians are expected to be politically correct? how about those other religions out there?
That is why cultures are so important...they transfer the knowledge and traditions to the next generation. Without that we have no civil society—it breaks down into chaos. Political correctness and critical theory was intentionally designed to destroy Western Civilization by tearing down the two pillars (family and Christianity) that supported the culture. Marxists know that they need to destroy family (all relationships that promote loyalty and uniqueness and independence) and Christianity (it gives hope outside of government and prevents mass murder because of the intrinsic worth of everyone as the children of God).
Critical Theory is designed to destroy all heroes and institutions that made this country successful. No culture can survive if they destroy the reputation of the Founders. They insert moral relativism and communism to replace the concepts, they tear down. They destroy logic and reason in the schools by teaching lies to the young so their foundation is flawed, and so they can never base anything on reason and common sense.
That is why young people think that socialism is good...homosexuality is good, and have other insane concepts that destroy the family and civility and freedom. Kids are not taught history because they would see the major flaws in socialism and Marx. They would see the evil that governments always have perpetuated against their own citizens, killing hundreds of millions.
Founders said that governments are necessary evils so they must be restrained and kept small. Those evil white heterosexual men were geniuses and that is why that group is targeted by lies and slander. They are the reason we have been the greatest country in the history of the world. They are the reason the Soroses do not have a one world government right now. Bambi is very jealous of Western Civilization and that genius. He is red with jealousy and is trying to destroy all aspects of family and Christianity. He is a Marxist, homosexual puppet.
That is why government force of law will now make the Bible hate speech in our once Christian military which made it the best in the history of militaries. The ideology promotes honor and integrity and without the Christian paradigm it will evolve into a pagan hellhole—like the inhumane atheist Russian army or the homosexual Odin-worshipping Nazi SS troops.
Christianity is the only rational religion and is the bases of our laws and ideas of right and wrong. We have allowed the Marxist to twist the meaning of the Constitution to be meaningless—to allow Wicca to be listed as a religion is insane. The Founders did not think every crazy belief constituted a “religion” and would not give any special rights to stupidity. They wreaked of common sense though, which the PC Marxists have tried to destroy.
Alas words like...”don we now our gay apparel” and “make the Yuletide gay” ..just aren’t the same in our time.
