Caffeinated Thoughts ^

Posted on 12/27/2010 6:29:45 AM PST by MaxCUA

This is the third annual year for this “prestigious” award. The first year we selected who the winner was. Last year contributors to this blog nominated conservatives whom they have felt have made an impact in the conservative movement over the past year and readers voted for their favorite.. Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin won in 2008 and again in 2009. Below are our nominees that our readers can vote on. Voting will remain open until 11:00p on 12/30/10 and the winner will be announced on 12/31.

btw.....do some research.

DeMint’s PAC (which I gave 1000s to) raised almost 6 million for 2010

Sarah raised half that...gave to her too.

I take it my original post must have really hit home for you to be acting like such a little girl.

The only one not doing Sarah any favors are people damning her with faint praise suggesting she would be better as head of the RNC, or any other GOP organization.

By implication, all you are saying is that she is not capable of being POTUS. In effect you are siding with the PDS'ers no matter how much you state you support her.

So, what's your unsupportable reason for suggesting she should go for head of the RNC, or any other GOP organization?

1. She's not ready to be POTUS?
2. She's weak on Foreign Policy?
3. The Press will/has destroyed her?
3. She's not conservative enough?

Try to be a mature adult and respond without characterizing me as a Palin Cult member or someother pejorative term?

In other words, don't be a hypocrite. 2.

Anyone can pull your posting here and see that for someone who joined only in 2007 that nearly all your posts are running all over the forum smearing folks who disagree with you over Sarah or don't share your 110% zealotry and accusing them like you did me of purposely demeaning Sarah Palin...a supposition on your part borne of pure ignorance.

That speaks enough for itself and folks here can make their own calls if they think your style is warranted.

I don't.

I've been here a long time and seen it all before. You should be careful. Things change here quick and you can get caught downwind.

How about you use some common sense.

Giving money to someone is one thing, the most important part of campaigning is the actual work of support, and endorsements.

You attempt to frame the debate in a deceitful manner that only takes into account the money given, campaigning is so much more.

Ayotte, McCain, Fiorina, and Perry are well known conservatives, huh?

I’ve been out of town, so I’m quite a few days late to the party. Ordinarily, I would pass on this ping, but I can’t in good conscience do so this time.

“Wow, you are really a sensitive guy aren’t you?!
Having a bad night?
My statement was realitively harmless in comparison to your negative labeling of me.”

For one thing, wardaddy is a very nice guy. Being snarky isn’t becoming, and I wouldn’t “label” him at all. He can surprise at times. ;o)

For another, I agree with his statement on the worship cult that is here for Sarah and others. That’s just creepy.

FYI, wardaddy is very much a Sarah supporter, as am I. However, she is not the be all and end all in conservative political circles. Jim DeMint is awesome, as is Mike Pence, and I would love to see them run!

It’s a strange thing when someone supports a candidate to the point of being cult-like.

What's even stranger is the false labeling of Sarah supporters.

It really makes many of us suspect the motives of the labelers.

“What’s even stranger is the false labeling of Sarah supporters.”

Not all Sarah supporters believe she is the be all and end all...then there are those who believe she is.

I’ll “label” you in the latter category.

“It really makes many of us suspect the motives of the labelers.”

LOL!

Okie dokie.....n00b. ;o)

With that statement, you proved your ignorance of this forum.

I always love it when somebody pulls the old senority trick out of their bag of tricks, as if it has any meaning in the discussion of the issue at hand.

Usually, all it goes to prove, is how weak your position is on the issue being discussed.

It has no value in the discussion at hand.

“Usually, all it goes to prove, is how weak your position is on the issue being discussed.”

Reminding someone that they are a n00b isn’t something that I usually do when posting...only when it needs to be done.

I don’t like pulling rank on anyone. However, when one is as single minded as you have been...you might say someone who has blinders on...then I feel the need to point out that this forum isn’t single minded. There is room for discussion on many fronts, and there is no need to threaten people who have been here longer than you’ve, apparently, known this forum to exist.

“I always love it when somebody pulls the old senority trick out of their bag of tricks, as if it has any meaning in the discussion of the issue at hand.”

Have you had that happen to you very often?

Maybe you should think about “why” that happens to you.

note this poster when confronted with what exactly have she has done for Sarah Palin squirms...and parses...has nothing basically yet she considers herself the keeper of the Sarah Palin adoration gate and woe be to anyone who breaks rank however slight

in contrast with those of us with proof right here of our support of Palin..JR has pics with Sarah Palin at some rally...were he to utter that he disagrees with her over something...would he be "suspected motivations"?...I doubt it...harpies lack those sized balls

it's sick...it goes on here...always has long before Sarah Palin arrived...Bush went from anathema to hero and then back to ambivalent and there were purists the whole way for any angle purging anyone who disagreed at any moment

i never liked it over any issue, it's telling about the shabbier side of human nature

It’s a “she”?

Okie dokie!

Cults are...cults. I don’t think it’s healthy to be in one, no matter around whom the cult is centered.

Did you ever consider the possibility that some of them are paid to post here?

;o)
